The NBA shamelessly trying to extend the Rockets-Lakers series as long as possible so Luka can come back is hilarious and unsurprising.
On the flip side, by the time this series ends and the semis start, it’ll be 7.5 months since Fred VanVleet had his ACL surgically repaired.
It was such an obvious injustice that took place here. Never would’ve stood up in court.
Luhnow’s Astros were the main hurdle in the way of MLB (the dodgers) becoming what it is today…Deferred contracts & a financial monopolization of the sport.
The disruptive one had to go.
I think I understand what Udoka wants to do on offense but it's flawed. He wants to run an offense based on finding mismatches. It's not effective if the guy with the "mismatch" can't beat it consistently. Leave that to the stars. That's what they do. Use that to create easy offense for the rest. Otherwise, hunt the best shot possible. Don't pass up better opportunities for the sake of trying to beat a mismatch.
Reminder that the Astros asked the Rangers to switch home series and Arlington refused, offering Houston to play both series up there.
Instead they had to go to Tropicana Field
You know what is a worst slap in the face? You trying to ruin a man's reputation over a made up buzzer rumor to one of the nicest, most humble players in the league. Not only did he not wear a buzzer he didn't even use the trash can.
@BimaThug Are there subsequent moves that allow enough flexibility to go after a decent RFA?
Can the MLE be combined with the savings from the restructured FVV contract to go after say... Quentin Grimes? 👀
Or is that a pipe dream?
