POWERFUL: @BUngarSargon SLAMS Graham Platner and Democrats lining up to defend him...
"Well, I'll just say my grandfather's whole family was murdered in the Sobibor concentration camp. Graham Platner doesn't just have a Nazi tattoo. For 18 years, he had a tattoo of the concentration camp guards on his chest, and he knew what it was. He knew what it was. And to hear people compare that to anything else in the public sphere in America is insane. And it is insanely offensive. These people who are defending him called me, and every other MAGA person a Nazi for ten years, because we voted for someone who we thought would improve the lives of working-class Americans, and now they are lining up and defending a guy who had a Nazi tattoo -- which he knew about -- for 18 years. It is so insane to act like anything Donald Trump did was anywhere close to having a Taunton Cup on his chest for 18 years. This guy is a Nazi, and Democrats are lining up behind him because they think he can win."
I started questioning the Democratic Party when it locked vulnerable children out of school for 18 months.
I said goodbye when its leader chose to stand by a man with a Nazi SS tattoo who praises Hamas and blames women for being raped.
Homosexuality exists. In America.
In fact Andy, you have family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and constituents who are gay and lesbian.
It doesn’t make them less than or somehow unworthy of being an American.
What an absolutely idiotic statement to make.
Susan Collins's latest financial report just came out.
A staggering one-third of her money raised this quarter came directly from AIPAC.
Senator Collins is bought and paid for by Benjamin Netanyahu, and she votes accordingly.
Proud to join elected officials and community leaders at @MetCouncil's Legislative Breakfast before the Israel Day Parade.
I was especially pleased to hear @GovKathyHochul signed legislation creating a statewide 50-foot buffer zone around houses of worship. As a rabbi, I strongly support this measure. No one should face harassment or intimidation while practicing their faith.
At a time of rising antisemitism, I will be a strong voice for the safety, security, and dignity of Jewish New Yorkers in Albany.
Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ), on CNN, when asked about Platner: “From my standpoint, I will work with whoever the people of Maine elect, but I hope that they elect somebody that is going to stand up to this president, work with me to be able to fight back against all these dangers.”
@AppletoZucchini@jacobkornbluh You know I was with you on the toddler masking, but that was 4 years ago! She stood up to Mamdani today. Credit where credit is due.
"What’s most incredible is not that Platner would attempt to spin something that is obviously disqualifying. It’s that the leaders of his party are accepting that spin." -- @mikenelson586:

Proud to join so many friends in labor and elected officials as we rallied to support @EspaillatNY ! For years I have worked with @EspaillatNY and seen firsthand how he has stood up for his community whether it was working together on the #2020 Census or on labor & worker protection issues.
This is a moment when we need fighters representing us in congress. I want to tell you about someone who has the soul of a fighter.
I have known @EspaillatNY for my entire career in politics. We began as adversaries, running against each other for State Senate in 2010 (he won). So I can say with some authority that he is one of the fiercest competitors I have ever encountered.
Adriano doesn't just fight hard in campaigns. It’s how he’s led in congress. When there was growing evidence of Trump’s corruption in his first term, Adriano was one of just six brave congressmembers who stood up to sponsor articles of impeachment in Nov., 2017. As the abuses of ICE were mounting in 2018, Adriano was one of just 9 members who sponsored a bill to abolish the agency, years before that became a politically safe position for a Democrat to hold. (this is not surprising considering he is the first formerly undocumented immigrant elected to congress). He was one of the first to sponsor Medicare for All legislation. I could go on and on.
You might think that a member of congress who is so active in DC is less active in their district. But the opposite is true for Adriano. I am constantly amazed at the pace of in-person events he keeps up in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, even far outside of election season. And he uses his influence in Washington to deliver for the district on a scale that few lawmakers can match—including helping to secure $ billions for extension of the 2nd Ave subway up to East Harlem, $200 M+ to revitalize the Kingsbridge Armory, etc etc.
Adriano and I eventually became allies and friends after our intense 2010 State Senate campaign. He has wholeheartedly welcomed me into his familia dominicana. If I am ever facing a challenge, political or personal, he is often the first to call to express genuine concern. When he has supported me in my own campaigns he has consistently gone far beyond the “paper endorsements” that are so common in our business. He is someone who values relationships and doesn't treat them as a one-way street.
Adriano does nothing halfway—whether advocating for his district, rooting for his beloved Yankees and Tigres de Licey (if you know you know) or campaigning to win the support of his constituents in a tough race. I am proud to be supporting him in this election, so that this fighter can continue representing my neighbors and me in congress.
Congressman @EspaillatNY has delivered real results to improve the lives of New York families. I’m proud to support my friend, and know he’ll continue putting New Yorkers first and being a leading voice for our communities in Congress.
Ah, so the new logic of antisemites is “as long as an antisemite is ALSO antizionist, then we can claim Jews are offended by the blatant antisemitism only because he also happens to be antizionist.”
Essentially, being antizionist is now a get-out-of-antisemitism free card.
No it isn't. This stuff doesn't work anymore. We all know Auchincloss is AIPAC's man. We all know he wouldn't care about Platner's tattoo if Platner was pro-Israel. We are not stupid.
Relieved that the Texas Democrat who wanted to send Jews to concentration camps was defeated, but horrified she received 36% of the vote.
36% of Democrats didn’t view that as a deal breaker, an eerily similar percentage to Hitler in 1932.
These ideas must be given 0 oxygen.
Very proud to have helped shepherd this legislation to passage, and grateful for the partnership of so many leaders in and out of government who made it happen.
