"Wait," The hero said. He pulled back a bit. He glanced over the slime summoner holding the cheese sandwich. "Are you implying your sandwich was isekaid?"
"Not a bakery?" Slimantha blinked. She shifted her weight. "But Samuel"—she blinked again—"what if, like, the sandwich is from a world without bakeries? What if the sandwich is from a world without bakeries?"
"A bakery"—Samuel's vision pivoted to the sandwich—"like that?" A drop of sweat ran down his right cheek, his eyes on the surprisingly thick slices of bread. Then his attention returned to Slimantha. "It is just bread. It is from a bakery, not a bakery."
"Not gendered?" Slimantha glanced at her cheese sandwich. Then her gaze went back to the hero. She held her sandwich closer to him. "But Samuel, look at the slices of bread. With a bakery like that, she has to be a girl sandwich, right?"
"W-What?" Samuel blinked. His eyes turned to the cheese sandwich. Then his gaze returned to a certain slime summoner. "It is a sandwich. I don't think they're gendered."
"Maybe." Slimantha smiled. "Samuel. Samuel. If you meet a cheese sandwich on the road, eat it." She took a bite of her cheese sandwich.
"Please stop that."
