Tonali would easily be the best midfielder we've seen in a decade.

Set pieces, long range shooting, tenacity and far superior technical qualities Vs the rest of our centre mids, but unless balanced by a passing 6 we're buying a speedboat when we live 500 miles from the coast.

The midfielder that Spurs should be pulling out all the stops for is Alex Scott, not Sandro Tonali. Scott is very good at making himself available in space and making the right passing choices. And Spurs’ biggest midfield issue for many years now, has been their deep build-up.
