@janekin24@PolitlcsUK@Savanta_UK Meaning tories and reform split their share, allowing Labour to win, that’s how first past the post works. Reform might get a decent percentage nationally, if it doesn’t translate to any seats they are still irrelevant
@folkwhvre@celine19972@taylorswift13 Yes, it is atrocious what is happening in Rafah. But trying to force someone to speak up (only if they share your opinion of course) is bullying if nothing else. How about you calm TF down? Where was this same concern for Darfur? Ethiopia? Armenia maybe?
@DAZWILSON1974@MoonMonira It’s not black/white. I’m against Hamas because they’re terrorists but I also cannot support the majority of Israel’s actions either. I only support a 2 state solution, but that is impossible as long as Hamas and Netanyahu are still “leading”, so I’m against both of them
@qatarairways I booked a flight to Johannesburg from London, but my name on the reservation shows up without spaces between my first and middle name and between parts of my last name despite having entered it correctly. I can’t change this online. Will this pose a problem?
@RMSones@ImMeme0@elonmusk Glad someone gets it. It’s got fuck all to do with being gay, straight or bi. A cis person is not by definition heterosexual. Don’t necessarily agree that it is a slur or used as such (although I don’t generally use it in daily life)
@Hulla76@HXMnCK@elonmusk No, it isn’t. I’ve been called a cis-man a number of times (and I am definitely not straight). It is used to denote anyone who is not trans, straight or gay, and most certainly not meant as an insult
@MissJayLeanne @BorisJohnson Which is does not mean I don’t find the actions at Bournemouth Beach disgraceful and I wish people displayed more common sense than they do.
However, there is a difference between condemning actions of people and yelling “go back to lockdown” because of it.
@MissJayLeanne @BorisJohnson Yes I do, can’t have missed that the past few months. Doesn’t mean we have to run back into lockdown every time people do stupid stuff like this. Eventually we have to get on with life, and this virus is not going anywhere.
@Colin_UK_GB@SkyNews Sweetie, no. If you want to lock yourself up for 6 months, be my guest, I believe in individual freedom and won’t stop you.
The lockdown has already done untold damage that we will spend the coming years fixing, 6 more months and we might not be able to fix anything anymore.
