@NorthwesternMed it’s officially been over 5 business days since I have requested my deceased Fathers medical records. Your ability to do even the simplest request is a reflection of the same sort of treatment my Father received while under the care of your facilities.
@advocatehealth it has been 7 days since I’ve requested my fathers medical records. Sherman hospital doesn’t seem to want to give them to me regardless of all the proper documentation and paperwork being filled out. Sherman Hospitals medical records department refuses to answer
But yet, for the last four years because he had a history of alcohol TWELVE YEARS AGO - you labeled him as an “alcoholic” with “alcoholic cirrhosis” and that was the treatment he received. A man who had been proudly SOBER for TWELVE YEARS died thinking he did this to himself.
I hope @NorthwesternMed and @advocatehealth are ready for the lawsuit I’m about to bring them. Misdiagnosing my dad for the last four years. It took me three days of looking through his charts to see that in 2015 he was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis.
@advocatehealth curious as to why your hospital webpages are only 50% compliant with the “hosptial price transparency law” there is no estimated located, only machine readable - which no average person can make sense of.
@MayoClinic I’m at my last chance efforts. I’m slowly watching my father with a Giant inguinal hernia become less of a person every day and no one will help us, or help is so far out of reach that I can only imagine the shape he’ll be in before he’s able to get seen by a doctor.
@MayoClinic we have not met a doctor yet who has not said this is the biggest hernia they’ve ever seen. Please. Someone, please. Help me help my dad. I don’t know what else to do.
He needs to see a liver doctor, he needs to possibly get on a donor list, but he needs this hernia helped before all of his insides are out. He needs real doctors who care, a real team of specialist who can handle him. Giant inguinal hernias are of about 5% of all 700,000 cases
@MayoClinic he is an 11 year sober, recovering alcoholic. He’s been hit by a car, fought to live. Two years ago he went to the er and complained of knee pain and they basically sent him home telling me he was old, just to find a living infection later eating his bones.
@ILSecOfState Your phone lines should have been live for over an hour now yet every time I call it says you’re closed. IS ANYONE WORKING AT THE SECRETARY IF STATE TODAY? Turn your phones on PLEASE! It’s an hour and 20 minutes passed opening and I’m still being told your closed.
@advocatehealth back at it again with their stellar service. Second time within 6 months I’ve been in the ER with someone who’s they’ve forgot to come back and discharge. First my 9 year old son, after the nurse told him he couldn’t take the finger monitor off yet.
@advocatehealth I could see and hear the nurse approach the doctor at the station. I also hear him say “oh shoot” and “my bad”. No wonder it takes so long to be seen, doctors constantly forget to discharge patients keeping them in rooms longer and the sick waiting longer.
@advocatehealth then yesterday I’m in the ER with my boyfriend due to him breaking his wrist. Once again, left and forgotten. I could see the Dr at the nurses station, so we paged someone and when I asked if our papers were ready so we could leave she said she would check.
@advocatehealth then another nurse comes in and asks us why we’re still in the room. Uhhh because she told us she’s be back and for him not to take the monitor off?? My son kept saying “they forgot us” I was like “no they didn’t” turns out they did.
Anyone else see this video of @Clooneeuk forcefully pushing this women last night? Is this normal in the UK? For you to put your hands on a female when you’re upset? #edm
@advocatehealth but this ain’t my first rodeo. I take notes, I have pictures, I have witnesses. I hope you’re as meticulous at taking notes and keeping files as I am. So I hope you’re ready.
