Speaking to @TheObserverPost, Shahzad's family alleged that the 25-year-old was tied with a rope and brutally beaten to death. Family members claimed that Shahzad was one of only two brothers in the household and that his elder brother, Naushad Ali, had also died under suspicious circumstances around two-and-a-half months earlier.

The family further alleged that they were not informed about Shahzad's death and learned about the incident only later. They accused the authorities of failing to act promptly and demanded strict action against the accused, compensation for the bereaved family, and support for Shahzad's four young children, who have been left without their father.

A Muslim family has alleged that a quarrel with a rickshaw driver escalated into a violent mob attack. The family alleges that the incident began when the victim returned to his shop and requested the removal of a rickshaw blocking the entrance. A young man nearby allegedly began abusing him, overturned his goods, and started a fight.

The family claims that the victim went upstairs to escape the altercation, but several people followed him. They allege that he was dragged downstairs and brutally beaten. His father, who tried to save him and stop the attack, was also allegedly attacked. A pregnant woman in the family was also allegedly assaulted.

The family has alleged that some of the attackers were associated with the Bajrang Dal.

Hyderabadis should seriously boycott these expos and exhibitions. These influencers are corrupting the youth of our city. I do not want to name anyone, but the sister of a famous tennis player, an actress associated with a popular YouTube entertainment channel and several food vloggers who also happen to be doctors and digital marketing professionals have all contributed to a culture that is steadily eroding the values of a city historically known for its strong Islamic identity, religious institutions, traditional scholarship.

One of these female influencers has even married a non Muslim and continues to flaunt her lifestyle on Instagram. She has thousands of underage Muslim girls following her, many of whom are inevitably influenced by the image she projects and the choices she promotes.

If such events consistently become environments of free mixing, tabarruj, vanity, celebrity worship and other forms of fitna, then we must discourage people from being a part of them. I also feel that the Ulama should address this issue directly. Where such events clearly violate Islamic principles and repeatedly lead to harmful outcomes, scholars should provide clear guidance to the community and where they deem appropriate, issue fatawa discouraging or prohibiting attendance.

हर दिन ऐसी ख़बरों से सामना है। बीजेपी के मुस्लिम नेताओं और प्रवक्ताओं को देखना चाहिए। उन्हें देख कर लगता है सब ठीक है। कभी देखा नहीं कि बीजेपी के मुस्लिम प्रवक्ता ऐसे मसलों पर लिखने की हिम्मत कर पा रहे हैं। गोदी मीडिया के बक्से में बंद रह कर कुछ भी सपोर्ट करने से अच्छा है ऐसी घटनाओं का संज्ञान लें। सरकार और प्रशासन से बात करें। बीजेपी में ही नेता अपनी जाति के पक्ष में खड़ा होता ही है। बीजेपी के मुस्लिम नेता भी बोल सकते हैं। अगर यह सब दिखाई देता है और साहस है तो। मीडिया में ख़बर छपने और ट्वीट करने से कुछ असर नहीं हो रहा है। हर दिन ऐसी घटनाओं को देखना भी हताशा और शर्म से गुजरना हो गया है।

A Muslim family in Shakurpur has alleged that a dispute with a rickshaw driver escalated into a violent mob attack involving 15 to 20 men. According to a pregnant woman from the family, the incident began after her younger brother, who sells mobile covers near Shakurpur Mitthan Chowk, asked a rickshaw driver to move aside because traffic was blocked.

The woman alleged that a group of men accompanying the driver began assaulting her brother and later entered the family’s third-floor home carrying sticks and bats. She claimed the attackers dragged her brother, assaulted her father, damaged the door, and threatened to throw her brother from the rooftop. The family also alleged that the men issued death threats during the attack.

The pregnant woman further alleged that she was physically assaulted while trying to intervene and claimed some of the accused threatened sexual violence. She also accused Delhi Police of inaction and insensitive behaviour, alleging that police arrived only after the assault despite earlier calls for help.

The family has alleged that some of the attackers were linked to Bajrang Dal. Police had not immediately issued a detailed public response regarding the allegations.
