Other esports use GSL groups to avoid these problems and make every match count.

Random would be the only fair way to do if committed to having a round of 12.

@Hera_Aoe GSL groups remove the need to use tiebreakers and make sure that every game matters. Really removes the hassle and incentivizes every game to matter.

Other esports have used this format for decades, long overdue for aoe2.

The YouTube deal did massive damage to the landscape and I hope the viewership and support increase, but don't expect it.

I simply doubt you'll get events like the heyday given the viewership is lower and esports winter is raging.

@gr33nzo @Sottle There's definitely worse games for it. In world of warcraft they just removed the option and so they have "body type 1" for male and "body type 2" for female. It's quite laughable and I don't think anyone likes it.
