If I were an employee, I would ensure my time and expenses are compensated in some form. The only difference is it takes an entrepreneur to see it. Most employees don't have that mindset, unfortunately.

@greymouser1956 @CASSCONS @softboywin In reality, I would do the math just negotiate a higher pay anyways knowing I need be sure my travel and vehicle wear (among other expenses) is worth it whether you know that’s what I was doing or not

@CASSCONS @softboywin I am a business owner and I concur with this post. I charge clients for travel time. My time has value. No different for emoloyees

If the travel time is too expensive for the employer, then negotiate or hire someone else

And employers should pay for their employees time dedicated to the job, including travel to and from work. If they don’t like it, hire someone who lives closer
