From @TheAthleticFC: FIFA's president, Gianni Infantino, has stood back while journalists and even a referee have been denied entry to the U.S. The situation is a mess, our columnist writes. https://t.co/T39IluqZYa
@joe5talin@_Compo Players supporting their teammates and wanting them to do well is exactly the kind of positive culture that's been missing for too long. On the surface, celebrating Bruno's record isn't that important, but it shows a dressing room that's united. Gives me optimism for next season.
@AndyMk_83 Was having a discussion with a mate about managers who left a smaller Premier League club and did well at a bigger one. The best examples we could think of were Pochettino and Redknapp to Spurs. Rodgers to Liverpool at a push.
@dipsMUFC@lauren_paige07 My guess is Viagogo or the like. They often deal in touting away tickets. Not sure how she got in if there were checks, though? A cynic might say that it's possibly because she's not the type of person they're trying to catch out.
@WayneSBarton Aged 10, the 5-3 win away to Spurs in 2001 was the first time I properly got into United. My Dad had recently taken me to my first game (1-0 win v Netherlands, Roy Keane MOTM). We didn't have Sky, but he was following the teletext and updating me. From that day on, I was hooked.
@tribunGS@AVFCSupport Been to both grounds as an away fan and sorry to tell you that Galatasaray was far worse. A couple of hundred of us weren't let into the stadium until 30 minutes after kickoff and it's probably the longest I've been kept in a stadium after a Euro away (about 90 minutes).
@OhCheesesChrist@Antpocalypsenow Interesting they have a caveat for the TV selected FNF game potentially affected by Europe, but none for United/Palace. It's as good an indicator as any that it'll be moved to 2pm Sunday. There probably can't be a Monday TV slot because of the midweek fixtures. https://t.co/H11oonhplO
@sistoney67@ManUtd Disagree that "Infiltration is incredibly difficult". The club could easily access Facebook pages and ticket sale sites, buy tickets from touts, and identify who is selling them for massive profit. Instead, they've decided to go after ST holders passing to a mate for face value.
@dipsMUFC Are the club aware of people in Facebook groups touting home games to non-members, claiming they can create links to access tickets as a workaround? Plus, the flagrant touting of away tickets for up to 20 times face value. If so, what's been done to tackle this at source?
@laurennnn0607 @CansAndBansV12@jimmymcbride1@jenny_owens1 Can't believe how they get away with it, but just assumed it's been let slide by the club because of the staff cuts. That doesn't add up now that they've gone to all this effort to go after season ticket holders at aways.
@JacamoRed Touts have found a way around the use of the app. I think they do it by creating a link to access via the website, which can be done from different devices.
