HOW PRESIDENT TINUBU’S CONCRETE ROAD HELPED AVERT TRAGEDY IN DELTA AIRCRAFT INCIDENT
On Wednesday, June 10, a Nigerian aircraft developed problems while trying to land at Asaba Airport in Delta State. Unable to complete its landing at the airport, the aircraft eventually landed on a concrete road near Ogwashi-Uku.
What could have ended in tragedy is now a story of survival. All crew members on board escaped without injury.
As aviation authorities investigate the incident, many Nigerians have pointed to an important lesson: good infrastructure can make a difference when it matters most.
The road on which the aircraft landed provided a stable surface during a critical emergency. While roads are primarily built for vehicles, this incident points at the importance of investing in quality and durable infrastructure. It is how well-constructed roads can deliver value beyond their intended purpose and, in unexpected situations, contribute to safety and help avert disaster.
This is one of the reasons the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to promote the use of concrete pavement on major roads across the country. Concrete roads are designed to be stronger, more durable, and able to withstand heavy pressure over a long period.
In almost every parts of Nigeria, several road projects are being constructed or reconstructed using concrete technology under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Works led by Senator Engr. David Umahi.
The Asaba incident serves as a reminder that infrastructure is not just about transportation. Well-built roads support economic growth, improve connectivity, enhance safety, and in rare situations like this, can help prevent a bad situation from becoming a disaster.
Sometimes, the true value of quality infrastructure is seen when the unexpected happens.

VDM stood right in front of the army and police blocking the Ministry of Defence and told them the truth they didn’t want to hear.
He said:
“After 35 years of service, there will be nothing to show for it. You have a gvn that you cannot use to protect your own family but you are using it to protect this terrible government. They travel by flight but you travel by road because you cannot afford it.”
He wasn’t talking to the enemy. He was speaking directly to the soldiers and officers themselves.
That’s what makes this different. He didn’t just confront the system... he reminded the men holding the gvns that they too are victims of the same system they are protecting.
The real problem is not the men in uniform. It’s the system that puts gvns in their hands and turns them against their own people.
To the men in uniform, there is still time to wake up. Because one day the uniform will be gone, the salary will stop, and you will return to your villages to face the same poverty, the same bandits, and the same insecurity you were used to shield others from.
That day, you will remember this moment and ask why you didn’t do the right thing while you had the chance.
What do you think about this?
Message to Obidients
I have said that the Obidients are the greatest political resource for Nigeria’s political transformation.
Now, listen
Forget the primaries
Focus on driving @PeterObi to the presidency

1 truly transformative President will change Nigeria.
Focus on Peter Obi. Support NDC. Get to work
“Those seeking power in Nigeria should stop disturbing President Tinubu. They should stop kidn@pping; it cannot give them the Presidential Villa”— Edo state Governor Okpebholo
And for spreading terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, mass killings and general insecurity across the country, may thunder fire the APC Government and it's members accordingly.
It is profoundly telling that you never see Tinubu or APC supporters condemning INEC’s systemic failures. There is absolutely no outrage from their camp. There is no tweet from their tweeter warlord asking for Amupitan resignation. Instead, their smug confidence that "nobody can defeat Tinubu" seems to stem directly from this broken system. They aren't upset because the flaws work in their favour or it's part of their game plan. It’s a chilling realization when an entire political block becomes so comfortable with electoral irregularities that they treat systemic criminality as a standard winning strategy.
“I’m a 3-star captain, so you can’t be a&guing with me in terms of s£cur!ty. Tinubu knows all that is happening in Nigeria.
You can see that I’m showing my face out here, so I’m not afraid. You all haven’t seen anything yet. There is more to come.
Then we thought maybe it was because Buhari was in power, perhaps Tinubu would do better. But instead of it getting better, it keeps getting w0rs£. In fact, this period is w0rs£ than Buhari’s time.
Some people are even saying they want to do autonomy, this and that, but when you get to the National Assembly, you will only hear them sing, ‘On your mandate we shall stand,’ as National anthem.
We can’t send our children to school again; they will k!dn@p them, a teacher was also b#h##d&d too, and this is happening in a country that has a president.
But within three and a half years, he has spent ₦160 trillion. What did they use it for?
We had f0ught in Liberia and Sierra Leone, but check out our soldiers now, they don’t even have any rank again. A whole Major General or Brigadier General can be k!!l£d because the military has been policies.
This man doesn’t care about his people. The military are no longer independent.
Five months ago, they wanted to carry out a c&up in Cotonou. The president sent military personnel to go and stop it. If you go there today, you will still see Nigerian Army officers roaming about.
But what happened to doing the same for our own country...?”

Remember this happened in 2015. Due to the desperation of APC, HE WAS BURNT ALIVE WITH HIS FAMILY SO THAT BUHARI WOULD BE DECLARED WINNER.

The only reason Arise Television kept Rufai Oseni on their staff list and, as one of the anchors of their flagship program is because his style aligns with the overall business strategy of the company itself. What many people do not know is that Arise Television was not set up as a news outlet, it was set up as an entertainment outfit. Within that context, their goal is not necessarily dissemination of authentic news or information, their goal is to create content that will entertain audience using any means at their disposal. That is why they deliberately prioritize sensationalism, falsehoods, misinformation and controversy over genuine journalistic ethos. Though Arise Television is a significant player in the communication business in Nigeria, they operate with the mindset of a social media online content creator whose only objective is to generate traffic to his/her social media account. The character of Rufai Oseni, his mindset and understanding fits perfectly and completely into the business model and philosophy of Arise Television owners. His aggression, sheer energy, ability to spread falsehoods, sensationalism and misinform audiences is exactly what Arise needs to boost it's audience base and that is why they keep him and have refused to fire him.

A government that fails to tackle smuggling and corruption instead implements policies that punish the citizens more than the corrupt smugglers, us definitely a wicked clownish 🤡 government.
@Just_Ak47 Ignorance pro max...
Who is the "government" if not people like you that fails daily in their position of trust.
Besides, human ingenuity will corrupt any system as long as they see benefits.
There is no country in the world that is not battling smuggling and corruption 🤡
