@debgreening @MahliBrindamour @prairietara Thank you for doing your part. I think the only other thing you can do is encourage your friends and family to do the same. Our government needs to hear your concerns loud and clear.
“People are dying in our city from drug overdoses,” the release frankly stated. “They’re not strangers; they are someone’s child, spouse, sibling, or parent. We can all play a role in preventing these needless fatal events.” #skpoli
A little Covid story: Ten days ago, my husband’s Covid app went off. He went to get tested, but we weren’t worried. He’s the guy who sanitizes EVERYTHING, wears a mask etc.
He was positive. Totally asymptomatic. Wear a mask. Get the app. #COVID19
This is the Ontario comp. to the new Sask. cases.
Ontario had 1,588 new cases Saturday and Sask. had 439 new cases.
Ontario has 14.5 million people.
Sask. has 1.17 million. #COVID19SK
NO, a negative #COVID test does NOT mean you can safely socialize, or travel, or break the public health measures!!!

One more thing @Carlainsask – I always suggest when communicating with gvt MLAs, CC the opposition. It adds an extra layer of transparency & helps the opposition know what gvt members are hearing too. This could include the leader or the respective opposition critic. #skpoli
My advice as a former MLA - yes, write your MLA, but if they happen to be NDP, you’re preaching to the converted. Write to the Minister of Haalth @MerrimanPaul, the Minister Responsible for Rural & Mental Health @everetthindley and the Premier @PremierScottMoe too. #skpoli
One more thing – communicate with your MLA and the ministers beyond social media. Take a moment to write an email/letter and say why this matters to you and should matter to them, or pick up the phone and call them. Your posting of contact information was a great idea. #skpoli

In my work I hear from teachers across #Saskatchewan
In many overcrowded classrooms, masks are still optional.
A common #covid19sk spreader identified by teachers in Weyburn, Milestone, Martensville, Saskatoon and Yorkton?

The time to step up is long overdue @everetthindley@PremierScottMoe. In case you’re wondering, your answer to @MagioritisMarie’s Q should be ‘It’s not ok to just let people die’ and your decisions/actions should reflect that answer.
#opioidcrisis hitting close to home as our Education Coordinator responded to an overdose, this weekend while grabbing a coffee.

Learn the symptoms of an overdose, have your Naloxone kit on hand, and always call 911.

This. In 13 years hosting @cbcwhitecoat I have not seen this level of agitation from Sask MDs about the decision making of duly elected provincial leaders.
It is with a heavy heart that we say good bye to Professor Joe Garcea. A better colleague and friend we could not hope for. He will be terribly missed and always remembered.
Sask Party gvt really needs to step up. Yes, there has been some additional provincial spending, but the above pic is not wrong. The feds have funded most of the spending increases. #skpoli
Both brutal and true. The Canadian Mental Health Association has said we’re about $100 million behind where we should be in mental health spending. #skpoli
