کل میں نے مطیع اللہ جان کے لئے بے شرم کا لفظ استعمال کیا۔ میرا مطیع سے کوئی زاتی جھگڑا نہیں۔ اسے ارشد کی والدہ کے سامنے دیکھا تو سب کچھ یاد آگیا جب ارشد عدالتوں کے چکر لگا رہا تھا تو مطیع نے اس سے provoke کیا۔ وہ سچا اور کھرا آدمی تھا بول گیا۔ مطیع بے بار بار میرے ساتھ شبلی فراز اور کئی لوگوں کے ساتھ یہی حرکت کرنے کی کوشش کی۔ مطیع پر مشکل آئی تھی اس مشکل کے بعد مطیع کو دوسروں سے ہمدردی ہونا چاہئیے تھی۔ دوسروں کے لئے رحم آنا چاہئے تھا۔ اگر کوئی کسی وجہ سے خود سے بھی ویسے حالات میں پھنستا تو اسے نکالنے اور اس کی مدد کرنے کی کوشش کرنا چاہئیے تھی۔ نہ کہ کسی کو provoke کر کے اس سے ایسی باتیں کروانی کہ وہ ضرور مصیبت میں چلا جائے۔ یہ میری نزدیک سنگدلی اور خود غرضی ہے۔ بعد میں وہی ارشد جب جان بچانے ملک سے باہر نکل رہا تھا تو مطیع نے اس کے لئے فرار ہونے کہ الفاظ ادا کئے۔ سمجھ سے باہر جنہوں نے مطیع کو مارا اٹھایا اگر وہی کسی اور کو اٹھاتے ہیں مارتے ہیں تو مطیع کو ان کے ساتھ کھڑے ہونا ہے یا مظلوم کہ ساتھ۔ میں اس زہنی سوچ کو سمجھ نہیں پا رہا۔ خدا کی قسم اگر مطیع ہو سلیم صافی ہو طلعت حسین ہو یا طور ہو ان کو کوئی آج اٹھائے تو میرے تمام ہمدردی سپورٹ مظلوم کے ساتھ ہو گی۔ بہرحال یہ لوگ نفرت میں اتنے آگے چلے گئے ہیں کہ خود کی تکلیف سے بھی نہیں سیکھا۔میں سمجھتا ہوں مجھے اسے بے شرم نہیں کہنا چاہیے تھا۔ کیونکہ جو بھی ہے وہ بھی مشکل حالات سے گزر چکا ہے۔ وہ کسی کا احترام نہیں بھی کرتا مجھے کرنا چاہئیے تھا۔ اس زاویے سے دیکھتے ہوئے میں اپنے الفاظ واپس لیتا ہوں۔ اور دعا گو ہوں یہ لوگ جس سے نفرت کرتے ہیں اس کے ساتھ بھی کم از کم انسانی سلوک کریں۔
