@deray If you think LAPD is bad, LASD is worse. They have a much larger jurisdiction, run the largest jail system in the country, and have raided elected officials homes who threaten accountability. Black and brown communities are being killed and beaten with very little attention.

New from me: Deputies who are part of the Industry Indians deputy gang beat up Joseph Perez in 2020. Months later, as he sat in jail, those same deputies assaulted a group of teens at a bowling alley.

Joseph’s mother is asking Sheriff Luna to fire them.

Monday, March 30th marks the FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the Board of Supervisor’s approving the Men’s Central Jail (MCJ) Closure Report, and the 16th angelversary of John Horton the 3rd who was murdered inside MCJ by Deputy gangs.

1️⃣ Provide a REAL timeline, with benchmarks for the closure of Men’s Central Jail
