These people represent only a minority of Afrikaners, @USAmbRSA. They have no right to speak on behalf of us. Next time also invite the @ATKVSA, @AgriSA1904, @KurtOfficial and @RassieRugby. And the majority of Afrikaners vote for the @Our_DA not FF+.
Who even gave debutant Cape Verde a chance to take the reigning champions Argentina to extra time in World Cup last 32? They’ve defied every expectation. What a team. Absolutely remarkable. Dream on the Blue Sharks🦈🇨🇻
"Failing to always be present and ceding the state’s role to populists and agitators such as March and March, as has happened in the past 3 months, will...tip SA back into extremely dangerous territory."

While @JackBloomDA and I have serious differences, this man would make a good Minister of Health. His dogged determination to resist HIV denialism, corruption, mismanagement and incompetence in our healthcare system must be recognised.
Imagine you wanted some defence for your reputation, and the place that you got it was Frans Cronje's propaganda outlet. How sad.

The wave of xenophobia in SA has now ignited a level of bigotry & racism I have not witnessed since 1994, much of it coming from Zulu ethnic nationalists. The white right wing is also joining in. Muslim, Tsonga, Shangaan, Indian & Jewish SAns are also now targeted on social media
The response to this post by blue-ticked accounts tells you all you need to know about how this is a manipulative campaign to cause social division.
Islamophobia has never even been a thing in SA. Until now.
He is. I know Paul. He is a good person. That is why I am reticent to throw his name into this. I know not of the extent of his involvement. He was also not involved in GNU negotiations.
I also know Tony.
And I know how he coerces the DA into doing the bidding of his clients. I experienced it first hand in 2014, and will 100% stand behind that. And I will absolutely credit Helen Zille & James Selfe for protecting me while a group of his boys sent me endless rude emails telling me to lay off Tony’s client. I was a brand new MP being bullied by powerful people in the party. I am glad I had the wherewithal to refuse to budge green as I was. It was so bad that we were going to go public with how Tony was operating within the DA. THAT is how bad it was. But he and his hounds decided to back off.
And I am not doing any of this for myself. Two reasons.
1. I am also big & bold enough to fight my own battles. I can and have. I am doing this for current MPs, including Ministers who I am certain are being subjected to the same treatment I was. Some of them don’t have the fight in them. They should but they don’t. Either way, they don’t deserve the treatment Tony and his acolytes dish out. I needs to be brought to a grinding halt.
2. And most importantly, I am doing this for South Africa. Enough with the politically connected thinking that they are above the rules. Enough with it. We are fixing this country by hook or by crook. There is nothing wrong with lobbying, but coercion to serve private and not public interests? Hell no.
August 2012 was a horrible month to be involved, in any shape or form, with Lonmin’s Marikana mine in North West. By August 15, 10 people — including two policemen — had been murdered in and around the mine as a six-week wildcat strike by newish trade union the Association of Mineworkers & Construction Union intensified.

Dear @eNCA
You need to give your journalists urgent training on South Africa’s geography. Your reporter asked if a man from Malamulele is in the country legally or illegally? What nonsense is this? This is ignorance and its inexcusable!
BREAKING : Resolve Communications CEO Paul Boughey admits on #TheCMSHOW that Starlink is their client. He says even though they are against Elon Musk’s misinformation, Resolve Comms won’t stop working with Starlink. He says there is no ethical responsibility to do so. @Radio702
62 people were brutally killed in the 2008 xenophobic attacks - 21 SAns, 11 Mozambicans, 5 Zimbabweans, 3 Somalis, 22 other foreign nationals. The single largest group of people killed in 2008 were SAn, mostly VhaTsonga. Xenophobia & ethnic mobilization = 2 sides of the same coin
watched South African police escort protesters without executing them for 2 days. Even when marchers started looting or vandalizing property, they responded with non-lethal force.
Can police in Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, and Tanzania learn from their counterparts here?
