On 31 July, commuters at TRX MRT Station (Tun Razak Exchange) in Kuala Lumpur reported that numerous digital advertising displays simultaneously broadcast messages expressing support for the puppy Wangwang and urging an end to animal cruelty. The campaign featured advocacy-themed visuals and slogans calling for justice for #Wangwang while encouraging greater awareness of animal welfare. Videos of the displays quickly spread online, drawing attention to the campaign and sparking discussion among supporters across social media.
"The greatest kindness Wang Wang ever received was the sound of the world mourning her after she left us."
WangWang, your departure will not be forgotten. May this regret transform into light, awakening more people to respect and cherish life."

We won’t quit on you, #WangWang. 💔
The more I hear about this case, the more sickened I feel. If the reports are true that the boys responsible are already back out and threatening to do it again, then something is seriously wrong. The fact they allegedly recorded themselves carrying out such a horrific act with no shame is beyond disturbing.
No animal should ever suffer this kind of cruelty. Those responsible must be held accountable, and there should be consequences that send a clear message that this behaviour will never be tolerated.
This isn’t about judging entire communities or cultures it’s about standing up against cruelty. People around the world love, care for, and protect animals, and WangWang deserved that same love and compassion.
Justice for #WangWang. We won’t stop speaking up until those responsible are held accountable. 🐾💔#JusticeForWangwang
