@EshaAA33 Not outraged at all.
Yes I struggle financially but I’m also content with what I have and Musk has done nothing to make my life harder, in fact, he has made a lot of people better by providing value.
Covetousness and envy doesn’t help anyone.
@Boss_Aleeyu I reject your premise. You are distinct from Islam regardless of whether or not you decide to make your identity Islamic.
I can (and do) absolutely reject Islam as a pagan religion that cannot reconcile you to God but I do not hate you and only want you to find peace with God.
@AnneOfTheBooks Southern Baptist and I appreciate the high emphasis on missions and evangelism.
I wish my denomination elevated more of the aesthetic parts of Christianity and a greater emphasis on family and discipleship.
@Owennfa Most college education is a scam. People need to stop spending money on useless degrees in pursuit of the expectation that the degree will translate into high paying jobs.
Learn valuable skills or pursue only those degrees that are in demand and provide jobs worth the investment.
@UziCryptoo To be fair, a big part of this equation is that the only person you can control is yourself. You can’t force a potential employer or corporation to pay you more. You can negotiate, go somewhere else, or learn valuable skills.
@DissentFu Covetousness doesn’t help your situation, it just makes you miserable.
Instead of blaming others for being successful, try being grateful for what you have and learn how to improve your situation.
I promise that you will be a lot happier.
@meetuatthefence Correct, they would simply not be permitted to donate money to or receive the benefits of cooperative giving.
There is no real penalty for leaving the SBC and they can still even remain Southern Baptist.
@SkyVirginSon Sure they “claim” that, but we don’t see the RCC form or claim appearing in the first few centuries nor do we find it in Scripture.
What we do find is the admonition to confess sins to one another, but not confession to a priest who can then personally absolve mortal sins.
@InspiringPhilos@Jvnior@Fearless__Truth Muslims can’t even distinguish between Mary the mother of Jesus and Miriam the sister of Moses.
They also think a Hebrew word in Song of Songs that sounds vaguely like Muhammad is proof that Muhammad was named in the Bible.
Names are hard for Muslims.
@UK_Moyi I honestly can’t think of anything.
The most positive things from Islam are found in a far better form in Christianity.
Plus, Christianity has a far greater founder and none of the evil that Islam teaches.
I have met many people whom God has freed from homosexual temptations.
I’ve also met some who have repented and turned away from homosexuality despite the temptation remaining by the power of the Holy Spirit.
God still saves people from sins of all kinds and sets them free.
