Another short anecdotal update about the elections here in Israel.

I may very well be eating my words, but my finger on the pulse here (albeit in liberal Tel Aviv) is that the change bloc will be victorious. Indeed, I will tentatively say that perhaps Eisenkot’s ‘Yashar!’ party might even do better than projected.

The mood here generally (although by no means universally), is one of anger and contempt towards Bibi and his government, coupled with a desperation and determination to get him out. Amit Segal reported 31.5% voter turnout as of 12 noon, the highest since 1973.
