Dan Hurley shares a blunt reminder about what it takes to be great.
"If you can't sit through an hour and 15 minute video session...get out of this industry because this is only for the most competitive people."
The film room isn't glamorous. It's tedious, repetitive, and easy to zone out, but that's exactly why it separates.
The ones who consistently work even when it's boring are the same ones who execute when it matters.
Greatness isn't for the interested - it's for the ones who embrace the boredom of consistency.

Greg McDermott from Creighton University shows one of his many out of bounds play to score! The master of special situations! Great to see for coaches! @usabasketball
As a chronic early extender who occasionally (currently) suffers from the shanks, where has this drill been my whole life?
Seriously, some of you knew about this and just stood by and watched me melt down. You know who you are... 👀

A golfer’s ability to use the ground effectively is critical for maintaining dynamic posture and avoiding swing characteristics like early extension.
In order to prevent the pelvis from moving closer to the target line on the downswing, golfers must push aggressively against the ground with their lead leg, both down (vertical force) and away (anterior-posterior force).
One of our favorite strategies for helping a golfer develop a feel of creating these forces is a series of medical ball throws.
By cueing athletes to focus on the timing and direction of their ground reaction forces, we can teach them to “use their legs to drive their arms” and avoid thrusting towards the ball.

A great drill from UCLA head coach @CoachCoriClose
This 3v3 drill puts the defense at a disadvantage, causing the offense to read the defense to make a play.
