@Grunt2A@LieutenantRusty I’m certain this is a fan made trailer. The text and the moving kerning don’t look professional at all. There’s no trailer released on YouTube. The leaked clips of the remastered shots of the 1977 movie are ultra crisp compared to every version of A New Hope ever released.
Just found an old 1998 E3 interview showing an early, never released build of Prey, and my mind is completely blown. They were showcasing seamless, real-time portal tech a full NINE YEARS before Portal came out. Looks like straight-up witchcraft.
@dreamwieber@mralpacalips It’s a pity the animatronic absorbed so much water and became slower. It was capable of much faster movements during rehearsals, but in a way the slower movement added larger scale to it. Would’ve been terrifying, otherwise.
@dreamwieber@mralpacalips I could be wrong, but I thought the chewing of the tyres was the animatronic. The biting of the wheels is definitely CG. All full body shots were CG. The T-Rex chasing the Jeep is still an incredibly scene that holds up well.
@Josh143574359 Navigation is not going to be improved until navigation data is updated separately. I believe Australia’s data is still from August 2025. It’s a real pity it’s sourced from OpenStreetMaps and Mapbox instead of Google, which the imagery and POI are.
@electricfuture5 They used to have it back before V13 (Supervised) was introduced, then got reduced to EAP. Also, tolls were included in the loaner, but no longer.
@GoodbyJeff@markwoodland This was what I was looking for. Licensing Star Wars and other IPs gained them lots of additional sales, especially tying in with film releases at the same time.
