@heymrsbond As someone who taught at a school where a potential threat was NOT identified for two school days, I can tell you from real world experience that’s not always the case.
@heymrsbond I’d argue that being able to identify a student in the event of a dangerous event isn’t criminalizing students. It’s being good stewards of every other student in the building.
@heymrsbond At my previous school, a young man was allegedly seen with a gun by another student. Between his medical mask and his hood, security/administration wasn’t able to figure out who the kid or track him down for 2 days when reviewing security tapes.
Let’s not overcomplicate this:
Republicans passed a $2 trillion tax cut for billionaires and corporations.
And now they’re refusing to pay for it.
It’s really that simple.

No one would wish for that result if an abusive husband assaulted his wife. Why should teachers be different?
