@danheld The issue is that’s it’s too expensive relative to its use value. Which is basically nonexistent. It is now broken and does not work as a digital currency. And you can’t do cool things like smart contracts with it either. It’s basically useless. Hard pass.

@danheld @carnivorousbite This is probably the silliest comment in this entire thread. Gold is incredibly important for interplanetary space travel. It’s absolutely necessary for precision electronics & heat shielding in Aerospace applications. Gold is infinitely MORE necessary for space travel than BTC.

In fact, they can have even better properties. Which isn’t hard, because BTC is effectively broken as a currency now and has been for years.
