@MissJelena6969@SpencerHakimian Agree to disagree. Pratt has one thing that these other two don’t have: common sense. I’m sorry you have to dodge the occasional human feces when you’re walking around LA
@MissJelena6969@SpencerHakimian You’re very complacent with the situation and that’s fine. Many are not. We deserve better. It’s so sad to see what this city has become.
@woodsdenis@loudmendiola Dennis you can criticize the fact that he interviewed Alex Jones in 2017 without making false claims. As I’ve said before I will not defend some of his past decisions. But in 2026, his LA mayoral platform is the type of common sense see need.
@hearinladotcom@N65Michelle You wrote about a man addicted to crack cocaine who received treatment and it changed his life, and then you dare to question whether we should get treatment for people suffering from addiction.
Do you think these people need treatment or should we leave them out on the street?
@hearinladotcom@N65Michelle Did you even read the article? The story is about a man addicted to crack cocaine who finally got treatment and it turned his life around. This is no longer a serious conversation
@hearinladotcom@N65Michelle Addiction is devastating, and treatment is not an easy path. But it’s a better strategy than leaving them on the street to die or enabling them with free needles
@N65Michelle@hearinladotcom Legally you can if they are gravely disabled, a danger to themselves, or a danger to others. An ethically sound person should hope they all get into treatment
@RRosilesmusic@raeforla Well I hope he and his team of advisors are the solution, but we know one thing for sure: the current admin is part of the problem and needs to go
Richard, multiple audits have found that individual housing units are costing between $500- $800,000 each! This is absolute waste. Pratt claims he will remove tent camps and force them into treatment. I realize that’s a tall order but at least the execution will be attempted, which is a start. He’ll bring in business leaders to audit where our hard earned tax money is going, and I think we will all be shocked once we find out how much more fraud there is. We deserve better brother!
@RRosilesmusic@raeforla I don’t think it’s an oversimplification Richard. We have a horrible homeless problem, a horrible fraud and waste problem, and it needs to be solved fast if we want to clean up our city. We deserve better
