Got this for Christmas and it’s probably one of the favorite gifts I received! Love the Universal Monsters and I’m thrilled to revisit faves and explore the various sequels. Going to use this as a thread to catalog my reviews/thoughts if anyone wants to follow along!
i love Hitman because the roleplay possibilities are so fun. here’s me about to destroy coronavirus before it’s released, and then here’s me about to kill all the freaks on Epstein island
GMK’s been in my life for so long I sometimes have to remind myself how NUTS it is that Toho actually let Kaneko take as big a swing as turning Godzilla into a “my name is Legion” Onryō of Imperial Japan’s murdered and ravaged.
The Furious is so sick, wild and gnarly stuff front to back. Insane choreography, at times feels like you’re watching a live-action anime or like Popeye
@punishednuz Keith David was in about five minutes of Nope and even then the marketing was never coy about the fact he was in it (although in fairness Nope is a real movie)
@LegoKingo It’s really funny because it’s supposed to be this big epic battle meanwhile all you really get is Atreus and Mimir going “whoa look over there at that epic stuff happening!”
During the Rocky Road to Dublin scene in Sinners, Jack O’Connell does a flourish with his feet that makes him look like he’s flying and I swear to god that’s how Joey Iwanaga’s feet were moving in The Furious
