Omnipod 5 has given me the best A1C I have ever had and now I will no longer be able to use it because it isn’t covered. I truly despise the American healthcare system. It is broken. @myomnipod

I participated in the Omnipod 5 trial for 2+years and now I’m just learning that my insurance will not cover Omnipod 5, because it’s a pharmacy benefit and my insurance only covers diabetic supplies as a medical benefit.

The worst part is, I work for the same company that conducted the trial. I was on hold for an hour yesterday discussing this with my insurance company to be told there is nothing they can do.
