The Suns plan to sign Miles Bridges to a long-term extension, per @Gambo987.
Bridges will now likely be a fixture in Phoenix’s starting lineup for years to come.
The Suns should create a $10.8M TPE in this trade with the Hornets for Royce O'Neale's salary.
Grayson Allen's salary is enough to match Bridges' salary on its own.
Creating this TPE would hard cap the Suns at the first apron, which they are currently over. They could get under. We'll see the final structure when this completes on July 6.
In their short time with the Suns, these guys provided so many memorable moments. Buzzer beater against the Lakers, a steal followed by a spot up three in the playoffs and scoring a career high 42 on a franchise record 10 three pointers. Thank you Grayson and Royce!
The Hornets traded Miles Bridges to the Suns for Grayson Allen, Royce O’Neale and a 2033 1st round-pick, per @ShamsCharania.
There is mutual interest between Bridges and Phoenix on an extension.
Collin Gillespie is staying with the Phoenix Suns on a four-year, $48 million deal, per ESPN.
After going undrafted out of Villanova in 2022 and spending three straight seasons on two-way contracts, Gillespie turns his hard work into a lucrative long-term contract.
The #Suns might just be playing three future starters together at Summer League and that should excite fans (✍️ @LucaLockheart)

Koa Peat on becoming Devin Booker’s teammate:
It’s surreal. He’s a legend. To be able to see his greatness everyday, it’s definitely gonna help me get better as a player.”
The Lakers and Suns are among the teams to express trade interest in Miles Bridges.
Bridges is extension-eligible this summer, but the Hornets have shown no interest in another long-term agreement.
After trading LaMelo Ball, Bridges appears next up for their roster retool.
The Suns have retained their 3 free agents for a combined $31 million AAV:
Collin Gillespie - 4 years, $48 million
Mark Williams - 3 years, $38 million
Jordan Goodwin - 3 years, $19 million
Koa Peat on his purpose during March Madness:
“I don't think basketball is really my purpose. I think being able to have this platform to spread the gospel is really my purpose for sure.”
