Mbale is getting Eastern Uganda's first satellite regional zoo, and it's not a standalone attraction. It's a gateway - a deliberate entry point into the Elgon region wildlife/adventure corridor.

The Elgon region's uncrowded appeal is an asset, but without matching investments + marketing (digital push & expos), it risks stagnation. Arusha/Kilimanjaro area which is similar to us attracts 10x+ more visitors (50k+ to Kilimanjaro vs Elgon's under 7k estimated annually).
