@deseretistan Installed Graywolf on a Pi Zero 2w today. It doesn't see my Digirig for some reason. Will have to try it on a Pi 4 to see if it works better there.
If you happen to have an Icom ID-4100A, I made a video on how to turn it into an APRS digipeater using a Raspberry Pi and a @Digirig sound card.

The screen on my @lilygo9 T-Echo appears to have died. Tried full firmware erase and flash, but no go. The unit works fine besides the screen so at least it's still usable. Is it possible to replace the screen? Or is there something else I can try?

@NWSLincolnIL Did you send up two balloons this morning from Lincoln? I noticed two different serial numbers show up on my tracker: 25044469 and 25045003. #ilwx
Just watched this week's episode of NCIS (S23 E16) titled S.O.S. and noticed the park rangers using what appeared to be a Kenwood TS-570 to talk to someone. They were on 20 meters though they were transmitting voice in the CW part of the band. #hamradio#ncis
I put together a video assembling and setting up the Meshnology N39 node. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

I upgraded my T-Echo battery this evening from 850mAh to the 3000mAh model using the kit from Rokland. Pretty simple though my iFixIt screwdriver wasn't quite thin enough to fully tighten the screws. It's a bit chunkier now but it's my car node so not a big deal. #meshtastic
@KD9RDO My dad and I used to do that before cell phones and smartwatches. It almost turned into a game trying to get the seconds to match exactly to the audio beeps. He had this Heath GC-1000 clock he built and it set itself using those beeps!
I put together a tutorial on turning your Icom 705 into a portable APRS digipeater using a Raspberry Pi. Let me know if you have any questions.

@KD9RDO It uses the 915 MHz spectrum in the US. I'm still learning about it myself but normally I can't reach other nodes in town from home. I usually only see them if I move acrosss town to maybe Urbana where there is a lot more coverage.
I'm fairly new to #meshtastic, but I just chatted with someone for several minutes on a Southwest flight from Chicago to Dallas from my indoor node! There's not much coverage in my part of town so this was quite the treat for me!
@KD9RDO No they sent a message to the public channel that anyone can hear. Myself and a few others heard him and chatted with him till he went out of range.
@kc9on I'm using it as an unlicensed user which is where most folks are using it. Meshcore looks neat but doesn't seem very used in the US outside of major cities. I've only had a Meshtastic node for a couple of weeks now.
