I am officially miffed at ARRL LoTW helpdesk. Over a month since I asked about an issue with my DXCC account getting merged with another ham's and still waiting for it to get fixed.
Starting the get irritated at the LoTW help desk people at the ARRL. Either they are incompetent or simply don't want to look into the issue I showed them. This should have been taken care of well before the holidys if they actually did anything.
Between the smoker and the BBQ sauce in the slow cooker, it smells almost too good to want to go outside and check on the ribs. Radio activity may suffer somewhat today.
@W4SUL I am on the verge of doing the same thing in my basement. I have been putting stuff in totes, but then it takes going through several to find what I want.
Had a busy but exciting weekend, and I would not have had it any other way. Saturday 2 grandsons graduated college, one with a law degree from UMKC and one with a Computer Engineering degree from Iowa State University. Sunday a third grandson graduated from Central High School.
@EC4TR Every email QSL I have received so far indicated the contact had been uploaded to the usual places, includimg LoTW. I enjoy seeing the QSLs, myself, but do not want the expense of postage and printing.
@POTAActivator On a shortened vertical, reducing ground losses usually causes SWR to go up slightly. I don't see how increasing the ground would make tuning any easier and ought to decrease bandwidth a bit.
@N5BO_Justin My writing is so bad even I cannot read it once it gets cold. My typing skills are poor as well, but still easier to decipher after the fact.
Again, USPS shows its apptitude for inefficincy. A package I am waiting for has arrived, left and returned the same USPS sorting faciltiy 3 times in 36 hours.
@POTAActivator I remember quite well the sweaty palms, dry mouth and shaking knees during those first few QSO's as a Novice. I am quite thankful for the patience of those that had to deal with my first attempts a a CW QSO.
