Before @ElonMusk bought Twitter, you couldn't notice that foreigners committed most of the group rapes in Germany, despite being just 15% of the population. By lifting censorship, says @Pauline__Voss, Musk unleashed a “vibe shift” that led to @AfD's historic victory.
The Boring Company is pleased to announce our Series D funding round of $3 billion, led by the United Arab Emirates. The financing now values The Boring Company at $23 billion.
Other key investors in the round include Human Capital, Vy Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Sequoia Capital, A16Z, Temasek, Shamal Holding, and Baron Capital, in addition to other valued existing and new investors.

If you want to solve AI alignment issues, train a model to take you from home to the office and back with no pedals or steering. You will solve it really quickly.
I bought a Tesla in July and have basically retired from driving.
If you can afford to you should too. It’s the most dangerous thing you do every day and Tesla’s robots are better at it.
Elon really put into perspective just how insanely massive the Sun is compared to Earth
The Sun contains ~99.86% of all the mass in the entire Solar System
Earth is basically a rounding error
We live on this tiny rock next to an object so massive that almost everything else in the Solar System barely registers
And that giant ball of nuclear fusion is dumping an unimaginable amount of energy into space every second
Most people don’t realize how insanely autonomous Falcon 9 already is
Once Falcon 9 lifts off, almost the entire mission is executed by the rocket itself
And the crazy part is
This autonomy does not depend on generative AI
It comes from brutally refined flight software, physics, sensors, control theory and advanced optimization.....improved across hundreds of missions
Falcon 9 autonomously handles:
→ Liftoff and ascent through closed-loop guidance
→ Stage separation at precisely calculated conditions
→ Engine ignition and shutdown sequences
→ Orbital insertion and payload deployment
→ Booster boostback, entry and landing burns
→ Real-time guidance corrections during descent
→ Landing on a floating droneship hundreds of kilometers offshore
→ Autonomous flight termination if mission safety rules are violated
A 70-meter orbital rocket launches itself, separates itself, puts a payload into orbit.....then the first stage falls back through the atmosphere and lands itself on a floating platform hundreds of kilometers offshore
Physics, software, and hardware engineered to absurd precision
Falcon 9 is one of the greatest autonomous machines humanity has ever built
And SpaceX made it look routine
Tesla is now worth MORE than all other publicly traded automakers combined
Tesla: $1.511 Trillion
Everyone else combined: $1.446 Trillion
Toyota, BYD, GM, Hyundai, Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Ferrari, Volkswagen, Porsche...all of them combined
And Tesla still stands taller... nothing even comes close
I've now done a total of 3 hours riding around in @Tesla’s Cybercab and spent a total of $92.51. That travel time would have cost me $200 with Ubers.
My longest ride has been ~40 minutes. I legitimately can't come up with any major complaints for FSD V15. None. I’ve spoken to a handful of other people here who say the same.
I didn't need to call rider support once. No weird maneuvers, jitteriness, or hesitation. I do think pickup and drop-off locations could use some tweaking (same for Model Y) as you need to walk a bit sometimes, but I think that will get better as V15 progresses.
Two things you surprisingly get used to very quickly are having no rearview mirror and no side mirrors.
For anyone else trying Cybercab for the first time, I encourage you to recline your seat all the way back and just close your eyes for a minute. Realizing that you can nap in the spot where a driver traditionally sat while the car drives you around with no steering wheel or pedals is a pretty surreal feeling.
