This kind of personal attack and degrading language is deeply unnecessary. Whatever the disagreement, public conversations should be handled with basic dignity, respect, and facts not humiliation or cruelty.
That’s quite a leap. Billions spent on elections doesn’t make one side’s politics illegitimate, and Americans clearly don’t speak with one voice. If you want to debate policy, let’s debate the facts—not dismiss millions of voters because they disagree with you.
@BernieSanders Of course you mention Elon Musk when your socialist party has raised and spent billions upon billions at every election despite knowing full well that Americans do not subscribe to these politics.
The Scissor Test.
Within the first few weeks of me joining TBC, Steve gave me the direction that he wanted to be able to walk around a Prufrock with a pair of scissors, be able to cut any wire, and the machine should still be able to mine.
Obviously this was a hypothetical exercise, but the goal was real.
What followed was a deep system-wide failure mode effects analysis and a complete redesign of the machine’s electrical system to be able to pass the scissor test. There are still a few single points of failure where the complexity or cost tradeoff doesn’t make sense to design out, but for the most part Prufrock now passes the scissor test.
Being robust to a single failure is obviously important, but equally as important is observability of those failures. Without observability, a failure can lay latent in the system without anyone noticing for years and then when the backup fails the system will still go down.
For this reason we make sure to instrument each redundant connection so when any failure happens we instantly know, get a notification, and can schedule a repair for the next maintenance day - all while Prufrock keeps mining. That’s what lets these machines keep mining continuously with zero people in the tunnel.
We’re hiring electrical engineers. Come help us keep pushing this further. Link to apply in the comments below 👇
Our last night in Shanghai with my CAA China agents. Magnificent flowers, fantastic dinner, amazing night view and Teslas, of course.

Today is National Dog Day. DelRey and Cali are adorable and my best companions. It’s always sad when I have to leave my little ones to go to work.
However, I had to use @grok to get the dogs closer together, remove their toys, then insert me. https://t.co/ZWwTyIzcqc…

As this Vogue Hongkong editorial was going to be on a rooftop, I thought I would take DelRey. Well, he stole the scene, until I was lying on the ground. 🥺🥰🐶

SpaceX engineers spent several days inspecting Ship 40 in the waters off Christmas Island. They collected heatshield samples and gained vital insight into how the vehicle handled reentry with improvements now planned on future vehicles
@ScottPresler Hey man,
No idea if you’ll read this, but I just want to thank you so much for how hard you fight and how hard you work.
Whenever I get tired or demoralized, I look at you… and you’re fighting 1,000 times harder.
It’s inspiring and I want you to know I appreciate you.
I’m thrilled to show you the cover of my next book, TIMELESS, coming from @harperbooks and @HQstories September 15, 2026! This is the behind-the-scenes story of my second (and third, and fourth) https://t.co/ZcPER1Z6YI…
