“Complete prohibition.”
The phrase echoes through this circular like a WARNING - not to protect governance, but to ENFORCE SILENCE upon Govt employees across #Bengal.
No speaking to the press.
No writing articles.
No participating in media programs.
No criticism of the Centre or State government.
No expression that may strain relations with Delhi.
Under @BJP4India's remote-controlled governance, SILENCE IS NOW AN ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENT.
This shocking circular is not about discipline, it is about CURTAILING FREE EXPRESSION and SYSTEMATICALLY CHOKING FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS to ensure absolute obedience to the masters sitting in Delhi.
In short: THINK AS YOU ARE TOLD. SPEAK ONLY WHEN PERMITTED.
When a government cannot tolerate criticism, it starts crushing dissent. That is not strength - that is STRANGULATION OF DEMOCRACY!
In Uttaravag Lalpole under Baruipur Purba Assembly Constituency, AITC worker Bijendra Nath Mondal and his family were BRUTALLY ATTACKED in the aftermath of the polls. They were mercilessly beaten up and their home was severely vandalised.
This REIGN OF TERROR unleashed by @BJP4Bengal-backed miscreants exposes the COMPLETE COLLAPSE of democratic values they claim to preach.
Bengal is watching. The people will neither forgive nor forget these HORRIFIC acts of political violence.
India FAILED YOU, dear Swapna. @Swapna_Barman96
The first Indian heptathlete to win an Asian Games Gold Medal for the nation, Swapna Barman carried India’s flag with pride on the global stage. She later joined the Trinamool Congress with the hope of serving people and was our candidate from Rajganj Assembly Constituency in Jalpaiguri.
Yesterday, @BJP4Bengal GOONS SET FIRE TO HER HOME. Let that sink in.
An athlete who brought glory to the nation is being repaid with violence, intimidation and fear - simply because she chose to stand with the Trinamool Congress.
THIS is the grim reality under @BJP4India’s watch.
THIS is the 'Parivartan' they promised.
The @BJP4India govt must answer. This CANNOT become the new normal. If supporting the Trinamool Congress now means risking your safety, your family and even your home, WHERE ARE WE HEADED, AS A NATION?
If this is how an athlete who brought glory to India is treated for her political choices, the state of democracy should worry EVERY Indian.
To every soldier of the Trinamool Congress family, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your courage, resilience, and relentless fight for justice. Despite an extremely difficult and compromised election, you never gave up hope.
Our candidates and counting agents were forcibly removed in several places, while the counting process was effectively controlled by Central Government employees. After the results, Bengal witnessed shocking post-poll violence despite repeated promises of protection by the Centre. Central forces remained mute spectators as our workers, offices, and homes were attacked and set ablaze.
My deepest condolences to the families of those we lost in this struggle. Bengal has suffered immensely over the past few days, and such scenes are against the very spirit of our land.
But this fight is far from over. We will challenge every illegality, manipulation, and abuse of power through every constitutional and legal avenue available to us. We have full faith in the Hon’ble Supreme Court and in the democratic institutions of this country. In more than 100 seats, our candidates and counting agents were forcibly removed, serious irregularities were reported, and the mandate of the people was undermined. The truth cannot be buried forever, and every injustice faced by the people of Bengal will be raised with strength and determination.
The people of Bengal know who stood beside them through every hardship, and we must continue to do so with patience, unity, and determination. Truth cannot be suppressed forever. We will return stronger.
Stay united. Stay on the ground. Continue serving the people with courage, discipline, and positivity. Our fight will continue with unwavering determination and faith in democracy.
THE DEATH COUNT RISES, YET EVERY CRY FOR JUSTICE FALLS ON DEAF EARS.
Our dedicated workers - Somnath Bhattacharya (Saptagram AC, Polba-Dadpur Block) & Tapan Sikdar (Chakdah AC, Chakdah Block) - were BRUTALLY assaulted by @BJP4Bengal-backed goons. Tragically, BOTH succumbed to the severe injuries inflicted upon them.
The grieving families ask a simple but chilling question - does supporting Trinamool Congress in Bengal under @BJP4India’s watch now invite violence, persecution, and death?
Police - inactive.
Courts - silent spectators.
BJP Netas - busy celebrating.
Prime Minister - planning his next foreign tour.
Home Minister - completely missing in action.
And amidst this shameful silence, ordinary people continue to suffer the consequences of BJP’s politics of VIOLENCE, VENGEANCE & UTTER LAWLESSNESS.
Bengal is already witnessing a DOUBLE ENGINE DISASTER.
In Khejuri’s Jonka GP, West Bhangan Mari area, nearly 10 shops were allegedly set ablaze last night by BJP miscreants, right in front of the police. Entire livelihoods have been reduced to ashes because hatred and intimidation are now being used as political tools.
This is the true face of the politics preached by @AmitShah and @BJP4India - division, fear and targeted violence carried out with complete impunity.
Where are the Central Forces now? Or are they deployed only when it suits the BJP’s political agenda? Is the Home Minister watching in silence while Bengal burns?
If shops can be torched and communities terrorised in broad daylight, what remains of law and order? The message being sent is loud and dangerous - under BJP’s shadow, violence appears protected.
And as they say, the morning shows the day.
Shameful and deeply provocative.
In the Banshihari area of Dakshin Dinajpur, the statues of Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu, the legendary heroes of the Santhal Rebellion, have been vandalised.
This is not mere vandalism. It is a direct attack on Adivasi pride, history and the identity of Bengal’s tribal communities.
The same people who seek votes in the name of tribal welfare remain silent when the icons revered by tribal society are repeatedly disrespected.
Bengal will not tolerate this politics of hatred and insult. Those responsible for this disgraceful act must be identified and punished immediately!
@rashtrapatibhvn@PMOIndia@HMOIndia@WBPolice@CMOfficeWB
Is this how you plan to drive “Bhoi” out? By setting Bengal on fire?
What unfolded in Khejuri’s Nichkasba GP, Hijli Sharif is nothing short of barbaric.
Over 60 shops were torched by BJP-backed miscreants, destroying the livelihoods of innocent people overnight. Hindu-owned shops, Muslim-owned shops, it made no difference. This was not an attack on any one community; it was a calculated assault on Bengal’s social harmony, democratic fabric and the ordinary citizens who simply want to live in peace.
This is the true face of BJP’s politics: hatred, intimidation and destruction.
Bengal will never surrender to such violence. Those responsible for this shameful act must be identified and brought to justice at the earliest.
@WBPolice@HMOIndia@PMOIndia@narendramodi
We have fought an extremely difficult election where nearly 30 lakh genuine voters were allegedly disenfranchised from the electoral rolls. Throughout this entire process, we witnessed what we believe was deeply partisan conduct by several government agencies as well as the Election Commission of India.
Democratic institutions that are meant to function impartially appeared compromised, raising serious concerns about the fairness, credibility and transparency of the electoral process in West Bengal.
From the counting process to allegations surrounding the handling and movement of EVMs, Mismatch of Control Units, several disturbing incidents have left millions of people questioning whether the true mandate of the people has been respected. I have already demanded the release of CCTV FOOTAGE FROM THE COUNTING CENTRES and a transparent counting of VVPAT slips so that the truth can come before the people and every doubt can be addressed openly and honestly.
Democracy can only survive when electoral institutions inspire trust and confidence among citizens. Unfortunately, what we have witnessed has deeply shaken that trust.
At the same time, reports of post-poll violence, attacks on party offices, intimidation of our party workers and threats against supporters are deeply alarming and unacceptable in a democratic society. Many dedicated Trinamool workers and supporters who fought tirelessly on the ground have allegedly faced targeted attacks and have been forced to flee their homes out of fear and insecurity. No political worker in a democracy should ever have to choose between their safety and their political beliefs.
Keeping the democratic traditions of this great nation above everything else, my colleagues and I in the Trinamool Congress will continue to stand firmly with the people of West Bengal and with every Trinamool worker who fought tooth and nail against what we believe was a compromised electoral machinery.
We will continue to be a strong, vocal and uncompromising opposition both in Delhi and WB.
Under the guidance and leadership of Mamata Banerjee, our fight for democracy, constitutional values and the rights and dignity of the people will continue without fear and without compromise.
I urge every Trinamool supporter and worker to stay strong and united during this difficult time. If anyone has been subjected to post-poll violence, intimidation, or threats, I request them to reach out and share their details with me or DM me. I will do everything within my capacity to ensure their safety and security and pursue every available legal and democratic remedy. I will stand shoulder to shoulder with every Trinamool worker and supporter in this fight to ensure that truth prevails and that both governments now work genuinely in the interests of the people of West Bengal.
Jai Bangla!
Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
This is @BJP4India’s victory parade, drenched in the blood of innocent people.
In Ward No. 1 of Alipurduar, BJP’s harmad bahini brutally assaulted an aged woman and left her bleeding profusely on the road. Have Narendra Modi and Amit Shah given their karyakartas a free licence to run riot and massacre innocent citizens in broad daylight?
And where are Amit Shah’s Central Forces now? The same forces that were retained after the elections supposedly to ensure a “peaceful and violence-free” post-poll phase? Are they only there to facilitate this saffron gundagardi?
BJP's violent face stands exposed. Bengal will not tolerate this barbarism. Every drop of blood shed will be answered.
The TMC party office in Jagatballavpur has reportedly been set ablaze by BJP miscreants—an alarming reflection of the situation the people of Bengal are now being forced to endure.
Is this the “Poriborton” Bengal voted for?
Yesterday, Suvendu Adhikari openly threatened that Trinamool Congress would be finished within 24 hours. Today, we are seeing exactly what he meant.
Armed BJP goons have vandalised our Party Office in Falta, Diamond Harbour. Across the state, BJP’s goonda bahini has been unleashed, running amok, attacking our leaders and workers, and creating havoc. And they are doing all this with full protection from Amit Shah’s Central Forces.
This is the real face of @BJP4India’s “Poriborton." Violence, intimidation, and saffron gundagardi.
We will not bow. We will not break.
Today, our Hon’ble Chairperson Smt. @MamataOfficial and our Hon'ble National General Secretary Shri @abhishekaitc addressed an important virtual conference with counting agents from every Assembly Constituency ahead of the vote counting on 4th May.
They comprehensively familiarised our counting agents with the entire counting process, clearly outlining their roles, responsibilities, and every crucial procedural step, while urging them to remain cautious, vigilant, and diligent in discharging this critical duty.
The people of Bengal have voted decisively in favour of development, in favour of Joraphool, and now it is our collective responsibility to ensure that their democratic mandate is protected, defended, and counted without compromise.
Ten lifetimes won't be enough for your Bangla Birodhi Gujarati gang and their stooge Gyanesh Kumar to put even a dent in my DIAMOND HARBOUR MODEL.
Bring everything you have got. I challenge the entire Union of India- Come to Falta. Send your strongest, send one of the godfathers from Delhi. If you have got the nerve, contest in Falta.
Some victories in public life are measured not in headlines, but in the light restored to a child’s eyes.
Through Sebaashray’s commitment, eight-month-old twins Alifa and Rayana Khatun have successfully undergone sight-restoring surgeries at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, overcoming congenital blindness and embracing a future once thought impossible.
Seeing their world illuminated for the very first time is more than a medical success; it is a reaffirmation that compassionate governance, timely intervention, and an unshakeable commitment to people’s welfare can transform lives in the most profound ways.
Their smiles, and the joy of their family, are reminders of why this journey of service matters. When humanity leads, hope prevails.
BJP outsourced its GUNDAGARDI to Amit Shah’s Central Forces, who ran riot all day, terrorising voters across Bengal.
In Udaynarayanpur, an elderly man who could barely walk without assistance was shoved to the ground and later declared dead at the hospital. In Falta, women faced brutal lathi charges. In Satgachia, even a two-year-old child was not spared.
This is POLITICAL TERROR carried out by THUGS IN UNIFORM. Bengal is watching, Bengal is angry, and the people will answer this brutality.
Central Forces under Amit Shah have become BJP’s PRIVATE ARMY- A gang of licensed thugs unleashed on the people of Bengal.
In Udaynarayanpur, an elderly man went to cast his vote with his son. Too frail to walk unaided, his son tried to help him into the booth. Central Forces pushed and manhandled both. The old man collapsed, was rushed to Amta Hospital and declared dead on arrival.
Since dawn, these Central Forces have been terrorising ordinary citizens- slapping women, assaulting the elderly, attacking even children. This is the SITALKUCHI MENTALITY of 2021: cold-blooded, merciless violence against unarmed civilians. BJP paid a heavy price for the blood of innocents in 2021. They will pay an even heavier price in 2026.
And to the JALLADS roaming Bengal: it doesn’t matter which state you come from. It doesn’t matter whose political patronage shields you. Every single one of you involved in this barbarism will be hunted down and made to face the full force of the law. Your reign of terror will end in total ruin.
This vote is for the Bengal we love. For its people, its spirit, its shared future.
I urge everyone to vote with courage and conviction. Let your vote firmly reject the harassment people faced in the name of long lines for petty politics.
BJP has waged a war on Bengal.
They have turned the greatest festival of democracy into what can only be described as a military occupation. The Prime Minister. The Home Minister. The entire Modi Cabinet. The senior-most BJP leadership, including Chief Ministers of 16 states. The ED, CBI, NIA, and Income Tax Department. Over 2 lakh Central Force personnel. The Godi Media. The entire Observer apparatus. And above all, a weaponised Election Commission of India.
All of this, for what? To defeat one woman. A woman in plain sarees and chappals, backed by nothing but the love and resolve of 10 crore people. And still, they are failing. Unable to compete politically, they reach for the gutter. The result? Roadside rowdy-romeo language like "Ei Didi", the desperate vocabulary of men who know they have already lost. It is a window into their frustration. All that money, all that muscle, all that machinery, and still no match for the power of the people.
It is this unassailable, indomitable power that will carry our Maa-Mati-Manush party to a historic fourth term.
Police Observer for Diamond Harbour, Parmar Smit Parshottamdas, has been caught red-handed.
Despite being provided official accommodation at the IPS Mess in Alipore, Parshottamdas disregarded protocol entirely and chose instead to stay at Room 208 of Sagarika Hotel in Diamond Harbour, where he conducted a private, unscheduled, unrecorded, and entirely unofficial meeting with Gour Sundar Ghosh, BJP's candidate from Magrahat Paschim.
A Police Observer appointed by the Election Commission of India, whose sole mandate is to ensure free and fair elections, was holding secret meetings with a BJP candidate in a hotel room, outside all official channels, in violation of every procedure and instruction the Election Commission itself has laid down.
The BJP-ECI nexus is not a theory. It has now been documented, dated, and located. Room 208, Sagarika Hotel, Diamond Harbour, 20th April 2026.
