Great feedback in Prescot South today!
From coming last in 2016 to being elected in 2017 & winning 66% in 2018 Thank you for your continued support.

@PushTheSutton@KieranGreen2003@socdemtomm I did a fair bit of canvassing, we picked up some Labour, but majority was Lib Dem voters who switched. In fairness to the local Lib Dem’s, they fact the national Lib Dem’s seem to have no platform.
@paultraynor67@Everton2Gether I didn’t say labours poor showing was due to the coalition. The Lib Dem’s struggle in Liverpool and Merseyside because people still associate the Lib Dem’s with the coalition.
@SeedyEFC88@liamrobinson24 I think you need to look up how a coalition works, Lib Dem’s could have withdrew support for the Tories at any point, they backed them all the way. When they were the only alternative to labour in Liverpool they got a few seats, but I think we will see the green overtake them.
Labour have completely f*cked it in Knowsley. 📉
In once rock-solid seats their vote share has collapsed to ~12%. Reform think they’re heading for a landslide.
But we aren’t letting them hoover up those votes. 💚
We’re scaling up across the borough. Join the campaign 👇
@Everton2Gether@paultraynor67 I think both Labour and Lib Dem’s have a lot to be embarrassed about for what they have done to the city and the wider Merseyside area. We’re still suffering from Lib Dem’s jumping into bed with the Tories, Lib Dem response: “oh it was years ago! We’ve changed, we promise”
@SeedyEFC88@liamrobinson24 We’re still paying the price for the coalition. Our communities and local services still haven’t recovered from Lib Dem cuts, but sure, just laugh it off, that will go down well with voters.
The state of council parks is the result of 14 years of Conservative austerity.
Council budgets were cut year after year backed by MPs like Suella Braverman, Lee Anderson, Robert Jenrick and Danny Kruger, now leading voices in Reform.
The growth in @TheGreenParty membership in Knowsley is unbelievable, with elections this year and all outs not too far away there has never been a more exciting time to be part of The Green Party.
Knowsley Greens are growing fast 🌱
A year ago we had 80 members — now we’re just a few away from 300!
Let’s keep it going and offer a real alternative to Labour and Reform.

@JosephW56436640@GreenPartyHan@EllieChowns By convention, Hannah can’t speak until her maiden speech, a member has to liaise with the speakers office to agree a time for a maiden speech, and by convention it needs to be related to the business of the day and also be non political.
@lukerobertblack@MothinAli What social conservative views does he hold about LGBT people? Given how supportive the Conservatives have been of the LGBT community I’m sure your insight will be most valuable.
Liverpool has always rejected fascism, racism & hatred in all its forms. I fully support the statement from the Merseyside Anti-Fascist Network.
The UK Independence Party don’t represent our city or the true values of Christianity. Faith should never be weaponised.
@hoppyite We’ve made huge improvements to our disciplinary and safeguarding procedures, work still to do. But there are very few members on SPI and these are reviewed quarterly at GPC meetings.
Incredibly proud to see Hannah Spencer elected as the new Green MP for Manchester Gorton & Denton — the first for the Green Party of England and Wales in the North of England.Nearly 15,000 people chose hope, community and a different kind of politics.
This is just the beginning.
