Years ago, George Bush reminded America that immigration is about people—not just policy.
In today’s climate of visa crackdowns, deportations, and fear-driven politics, that message feels more relevant than ever. Are we still listening?

A young man lost his life in a moment that never should have ended this way. Alex Pretti was filming and trying to help others amid tense immigration enforcement, and now he’s gone. That should make all of us stop and think, regardless of politics.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
@BarackObama A young man lost his life in a moment that never should have ended this way. Alex Pretti was filming and trying to help others amid tense immigration enforcement, and now he’s gone. That should make all of us stop and think, regardless of politics and demand honesty...

Safety matters, and so does fairness.
If enforcement is the goal, it must be targeted, lawful, and humane.
We can back ICE and DHS doing real public safety work without painting every immigrant as the problem.
Strength and compassion shouldn’t cancel each other out.
More than 3,000 arrests of criminal illegal aliens in Minneapolis' Operation Metro Surge since its inception.
ICE and @DHSgov's work is just getting started.

@RepNancyMace Public safety matters. So does basic humanity.
We can enforce the law without turning suffering into a political trophy.

The return of strength. The return of America First. The era of winning is here — and it’s just getting started.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN 🇺🇸🔥
ONE YEAR OF MAKING AMERICA SAFE AGAIN.
Since taking office on January 20, 2025, President Trump’s first year has been nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the men and women of DHS.
A year ago today, I was entrusted to serve our country once again. Being First Lady is not just a privilege; it is a profound responsibility.
As we continue on this journey together, we must remember that hope is a powerful force, and that our vision to create a brighter future for all is within reach.
In just one year, President Trump has reclaimed American sovereignty by boldly pursuing peace through strength. Because of his decisive leadership, our allies respect us, our adversaries fear us, and the American people are put first.
Promises made, promises kept.
Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service, his commitment to justice, and his belief that every one of us has the power to make a difference, because as he reminded us, “everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.”
@america It's interesting to see history repeating itself. Immigration policy isn’t new, but how we treat people while enforcing it makes all the difference. Tough laws can coexist with fairness and compassion.

FLASHBACK: Bill Clinton in 1995: “Whether they're guilty or innocent of crimes, they are still here illegally and should be sent out of the country… Our plan will triple the number of deportable aliens.”
Those numbers matter, and so does how we get there. Public safety is essential, but it works best when it’s paired with due process, accountability, and policies that don’t paint entire communities with one brush. We can protect lives and protect human dignity at the same time.
