This has taken around a month in total. It's not the most adventurous video, but I'd like to hope it's a somewhat powerful one.
@LucySimons_ The fact he retired the womens championship, and resurrected it a few years later purely for 'eye candy' segments is absolutely crazy knowing the level of talent womens Wrestling had in the 90s
Thank you everyone for your thought & prayers! 🙏🏽…..my funeral service is scheduled for this Friday.
My family asks for privacy during this painful time, muchas gracias

There's a huge difference between AEW, an international, highly sponsored evening time slot show, and the lower quality, graveyard slot network poison ECW show. ECW was great. But it was never built to last on TV because of their use of spots like this. Its a PPV magnet.
I’m seeing comments saying “Rob Van Dam should know better, he was in ECW”
Funny, because I don’t recall RVD taking spike bumps, stapler shots to the head, going through flaming tables, etc. That stuff was for less talented wrestlers who needed to use that to get over/a reaction

. @JoshHollyWres was a fantastic champion
In the last year he’s had incredible matches with top wrestlers and people who have never had a match before.
Deserves to be wrestling at ALL the bigger companies in the UK & Europe
A unique professional wrestler!
In 2021, I started my journey in pro wrestling.
In 2023, people first learned my name.
In 2024, I was voted #3 in all of television on the Announcer of the Year award by readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
From my name known by no one to my name cherished by a few!
No resting on my laurels, it Is very cool to be recognized and is an indicator that something I’ve done in this business has resonated deeply with someone somewhere.
To be listed next to legends like Michael Cole, buddies of mine like Stew Fulton and Chris Charlton on the full list, and our good AEW pals in Nigel McGuinness and Excalibur - heart-warming!
In a business known for chewing up and spitting out those within it, I appreciate anyone who has taken time to appreciate or follow my work anywhere I go. Grateful for pro wrestling, and excited for many more years to come. ❤️🙏
Kurt Angle struggled with addiction and yet gave us as fans the most incredible performances.
Kurt Angle will always be one of the most inspirational wrestlers to ever lace a pair of boots.
I'm glad he's voiced his hurt with that nickname. We're sorry Kurt. Thank you for TNA era
I’ve noticed the ‘Perc Angle’ nickname trending on social media. While I know it’s made in jest, it reminds me of a time when I struggled deeply with addiction and mental health challenges. Those memories are painful, but they also fuel my commitment to helping others. I’ve been clean for 12 years and have since built a life dedicated to purpose and service. Addiction destroys lives, but it’s never too late to get help. I appreciate all the positive feedback and support. To my fans: thank you for never giving up on me. I love you all.

I have called 21 hours of pro wrestling live in Japan over the past 8 days. I will be sleeping hard tonight and drinking lots of tea in preparation for 3 more hours in San Jose. Thank you, New Japan Pro-Wrestling fans. More English coverage to come in 2025. #njNYD ✨
He might be the best Play By Play guy of the last 25 years. Give it 10 years or so. And Walker will be regarded as an absolute all-time great. Would kill to work a show with him down the line.
I know #njWK19 and #njWD season have put a lot of new eyes on NJPW, so for those who don’t know me, allow me to introduce myself. 👋
My name is Walker Stewart, I am 22 years old and I have served as the Lead English Commentator for NJPW since late 2023, and recently boarded with STARDOM in late 2024.
There is nothing in my life I’ve wanted to do more than broadcast professional wrestling.
To serve as the soundtrack to your favorite graps.
When I was singing opera music in college, or pursuing degrees in Business and Music Education, all I was doing was denying myself of the real passion. The real chase.
I’m so blessed that I took a chance on the chase, and chase paid off.
It’s on nights like tonight where many in our sport walk through memory lane, pondering every door closed and every door opened on there journey to the Tokyo Dome.
It is on nights like tonight where you get to sit back and remember just how blessed you are, whether you’re a fan, an athlete, or auxiliary talent like myself, to live in an era with so much accessible professional wrestling.
I am grateful eternally for that accessibility, and for every door that has been closed and opened to me in my short career thus far.
Tonight, like every other night, my job is to guide you through the happenings of the most wonderful spectacle known to man in the world’s most popularly spoken language.
Thank you for the honor of guiding the ship. I am eternally grateful, and I can’t wait to make new fans out of those who have never watched a NJPW broadcast before. You’re in for a real treat these next few days!
It’s the Tokyo Dome! Legends will be made tonight. Join us! #NJPW
