There's a huge difference between AEW, an international, highly sponsored evening time slot show, and the lower quality, graveyard slot network poison ECW show. ECW was great. But it was never built to last on TV because of their use of spots like this. Its a PPV magnet.

I’ve noticed the ‘Perc Angle’ nickname trending on social media. While I know it’s made in jest, it reminds me of a time when I struggled deeply with addiction and mental health challenges. Those memories are painful, but they also fuel my commitment to helping others. I’ve been clean for 12 years and have since built a life dedicated to purpose and service. My name is Walker Stewart, I am 22 years old and I have served as the Lead English Commentator for NJPW since late 2023, and recently boarded with STARDOM in late 2024.

There is nothing in my life I’ve wanted to do more than broadcast professional wrestling.

When I was singing opera music in college, or pursuing degrees in Business and Music Education, all I was doing was denying myself of the real passion. The real chase.

I’m so blessed that I took a chance on the chase, and chase paid off.

It’s on nights like tonight where many in our sport walk through memory lane, pondering every door closed and every door opened on there journey to the Tokyo Dome.

It is on nights like tonight where you get to sit back and remember just how blessed you are, whether you’re a fan, an athlete, or auxiliary talent like myself, to live in an era with so much accessible professional wrestling.

I am grateful eternally for that accessibility, and for every door that has been closed and opened to me in my short career thus far.
