There’s a construction site with 20+ workers behind my apartment bldg in Abu Dhabi. The moment the emergency alert went off this morning, the supervisor immediately stopped work and asked everyone to move.
Within seconds they all took shelter under a nearby bridge/tunnel and waited there. They only resumed work after the second alert said it was safe to resume normal activity. Good to see safety being taken seriously.
Morning update from Dubai
> heard a few interceptions yesterday
> phone alerts becoming pretty frequent
> debris caused damage in the marina last night
> debris tragically took the life of a civilian in Al Barsha last night
> woke up at 6am
> took the kids to feed the ducks and walk around the park
> shelter in place phone notification went off while I was on the phone to my mum reassuring her we are safe
> “Everything is safe” alert, 20mins later
> haven’t personally heard any interceptions today
> still feel completely safe and fine but also hoping this is over soon - the situation is mentally tiring
Life is still good and I’m still incredibly grateful
To all those who call the UAE home and guests in our beloved nation.
The UAE places its security and the protection of all citizens, residents, and visitors at the very top of its priorities. With God’s grace, the UAE is fully prepared to confront these threats.
I extend my deepest appreciation to our brave armed forces, our committed security services, and all national institutions and teams working tirelessly to keep our country safe. They represent the highest standards of readiness and cooperation. We are truly proud of them.
I would also like to underscore my sincere gratitude for the awareness shown by our community of Emiratis and our resident brothers and sisters, partners in this nation, who have expressed their genuine love and loyalty to the UAE through both words and actions. In the UAE, everyone is Emirati through their love for this land and their contributions to it.
May God have mercy on the victims and grant the injured a speedy recovery. With God’s blessing, the UAE—the land of Zayed—will remain strong in its unity, steadfast in defending its sovereignty, and steadily advancing towards the future.

DDS Senators Imee Marcos, Robin Padilla, and Bong Go each get 3 Committee Chairmanships.
Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino only get 1 each. Kahit sa Majority Bloc, may discrimination and favoritism.
