If a commercial jet could take off from the belt in the picture, we wouldn't need runways

But Cyber AI was HUGE in 2012

Cylance ($1.4B in 2019) kicked legacy endpoint sec. vendors hard. They sold (ML) AI-based malware detection (no pattern files)

Mostly hype, but they were "The AI Future" for a second
