@daniela_g714@drbulentdogan I completely agree with you! Social media has already made recruiting a easier as there are now rarely any paper applications and candidates can now apply and engage with recruiters from the comfort of their home. It also allows for them to get there name out there. #CUIN3313
@leavesleaveslot You make a great point as HR professionals are usually in charge of events for a company so they need to use social media in order to promote that event. TD professionals can also use social media to incorporate learning plans for the company. #CUIN3313
@drbulentdogan A2: Using social media in a professional environment like recruiting can be a negative experience as they may favor those who seem "picture perfect" on social media as opposed to those who keep their life private and do not use it. #CUIN3313
Q1: I believe that social media is extremely important for HR/TD professionals as it can benefit their jobs in recruiting, creating learning/training plans, and overall networking in order to find ways to expand their company. LinkedIn and Quizlet are great examples. #CUIN3313
@crazycajun9141 A2: Although it seems like e-learning apps can train employees from all locations, a lot of times they would need to be under their employer's server. #CUIN3313
@Candida19851164 A1: I did not know that LMS existed so it is an interesting thing to learn. I like that it allows the employees to self-serve, however I feel like a lot of employees don't like admitting that they need additional training so I don't know how that would work. #CUIN3313
@drbulentdogan Q2: Someone in HRD should be competent with Microsoft Office, social media (for recruiting), Keynote, and any sort of knowledge in graphic design. #CUIN3313
@drbulentdogan Q1: Considering that technology continues to evolve and is a huge part of society, creating training modules online can be a fun and creative way for employees to further their education in their career. #CUIN3313
