This Guido interview shows Tulip Siddiq story isn't going away - potentially one of biggest scandals of modern UK politics. Starmer needs to get a grip. How much was corrupt & murderous Awami League, former Bangladesh ruling party led by Siddiq's aunt, in bed with UK Labour?
I usually don’t comment on Pakistani politics. I disagree with IK on many political issues. But this is not about politics- it’s about my children’s father, his human rights & international law. For the past few years, I’ve been bullied & harassed into silence by PML-N goons, including rape threats & countless conspiracy theories. Meanwhile Twitter/ X is banned in Pakistan, PTI party members & civilian supporters have been abducted, anyone with a platform who was speaking out is now in jail & silenced, Imran Khan’s photo and name have been censored on state television (they have even redacted his image from any coverage of Pakistan’s World Cup win of 92!)
I owe it to my children to try to create some awareness about what is happening in Pakistan. Please help in any way that you can. Thank you.
Difficult Decisions.
You will hear politicians say they have to make difficult decisions. This is an outright lie. There are two decisions you can make. The right one and the wrong one. Making the right decision in politics is very easy. It may be popular or unpopular but its easy.
This current government would sooner send £11 billion of your money abroad on climate aid than pay our pensioners their Winter Fuel Allowance.
Now tell me how is that a difficult decision to make.
@srturaga That’s very kind of you, thank you. It’s a small local organisation. The volunteers are not paid/reimbursed travel etc. All money goes directly to buy food/clothing items.
