@poddotnetwork is now part of the @Lemniscap tribe...a good group to be part of.
Read the article to learn what Pod is working on. It's a game-changer for markets.
turned 25 today. quarter life crisis.
> turned idea into a product (ready to launch!)
> grew the team to 12 amazing people
> did +150 workouts and didn't travel
> learnt piano, and wrapped up masters
excited to announce that i’ve joined @poddotnetwork leading BD.
I met @sagrawal and the team two years ago, just before their raise - and it clicked immediately. This wasn’t just another infra play. It was a fundamentally different take on how onchain financial infrastructure should work.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about market structure, and one thing is clear: modern markets structually prioritize execution advantage over fairness and execution quality - especially onchain. You feel that imbalance in every trade. Fixing it means removing the misalignment at its core.
And that’s exactly what @sagrawal@abresas and the team are building towards. A purpose-built network for high-performant fair markets - no blocks, no chains. No latency games. No adverse selection. Just real execution and price discovery, where everyone is treated equally by the system.
Stay tuned - you‘ll be able to experience it first hand very soon!
as an indian citizen (running a well-funded startup), getting a visa for greece was almost impossible:
1. the process is poorly documented
2. circular dependencies everywhere (visa → bank account → bank → visa 🤡)
3. endless translations + notarizations in very specific formats
4. no clear way to open a subsidiary and sponsor your own visa
5. many greek professionals simply can’t process that a 24yo can be a self-employed founder!
it took >6 months and multiple “experts” to navigate.
if greece wants global founders and talent, this system needs a serious overhaul.
We are proposing to decentralise the CoW solver auctions using pod network.
pod can be used to conduct real-time censorship resistant solver auctions with no performance degradation. This is the first step towards making the CoW protocol decentralised and credibly neutral.
CoW protocol currently conducts off-chain auctions, where solvers apply different strategies to propose competing solutions. Currently, the autopilot service is responsible for maintaining the order book and arbitrating the solver auctions. The autopilot is a single point of failure for the CoW protocol. Users and solvers must trust it not to censor orders and bids.
Existing networks can't be used to conduct these auctions. Decentralized Storage and Availability systems cannot enforce the auction deadline. Consensus protocols require several rounds of communication, making them slow for conducting inter-block auctions.
pod is designed for censorship-resistant real-time auctions. pod finalizes transactions in a **single network round-trip (<150ms)**, validating transactions completely independently, maximising parallelism. Unlike consensus protocols, pod does not totally order transactions, which is an acceptable trade-off for auctions, but is necessary for this level of efficiency.
On a high-level, bidders submit their bids through the auction contract on pod, and subscribe to the network for other bids, and the auction deadline. The network notifies the bidders that the deadline has passed, and no new bids can be confirmed for this auction. The bidders then look at their local bidset, and the winning bidder declares their victory optimistically by executing their proposed solution on-chain.
Since there is no strong consensus, participants may occasionally see different sets of bids and identify different winners. However, this can only occur if some bidder misbehaves—in which case they are held accountable and their stake is slashed on Ethereum.
