Game 1:
Reading ended the 1st half on a 21-1 run to turn a slim 1-pt edge late in the 1st qtr into a 29-8 halftime advantage. After Reading also scored the first 3 points of the 2nd half, Hillsdale Academy went on an 11-2 run highlighted by the 1st varsity action of 8th grader Anna Bissot (pulled up from JV for this event), who scored 5 in the run hitting her 1st 2 varsity FG attempts, including a 3, as HA cut it to 34-19 early in the 4th qtr. Reading scored the next 7, including 5 by sr Aubree Ervans, to end the comeback threat. Reading wins 43-21.

Sr Spring Arbor recruit Aubree Ervans (pictured) scored & distributed well off the pick-n-roll & in the dribble drive while also cleaning up the weak side boards defensively to record an 11-&-11 double-double for Reading. 5'11" sr post player Abby Affholter was 1 rebound shy of a double-double with 10-&-9.
