Real estate is simple:Â Maximize potential and mitigate risk.
"Sounds great Kace - but how?"
You need to see a home for more than what it is. You need to recognize what it can become.
Look beyond the obvious--the creaky floors, the old appliances, the peeling wallpaper.
Most people see problems and run for the door vowing never to return!
YOU see opportunity.
We can help.
We're completely changing how people approach real estate by helping you:
1. Maximize upside by bringing you into our models to VISUALIZE the potential
2. Avoid expensive mistakes by budgeting costs BEFORE you close
Your home is not an expense. It is not just a place to live.
It can be your greatest investment.
THIS IS THE HARDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE.
Two years ago, my wife and I walked away from our jobs knowing exactly what we were giving up: W-2 income, health insurance, predictability, and the comfort of routine.
For a decade leading up to that moment, we had quietly been buying overlooked homes with massive potential.
We fell in love with transforming old spaces into something new and meaningful. Restoring the character and history of the home, while tailoring it to the comforts of the modern family.
It first started with a dusty loft condo in Chicago, then a second a few blocks away that we scooped up in foreclosure.
After taking a look at the market, we decided to sell and put the proceeds to work on a beautiful Victorian built in 1885.
Again, noticing that the market would pay a premium for thoughtfully restored, classic homes, we sold the Victorian and decided we were on to something...
As we documented our renovations online, friends, family, and colleagues began reaching out, asking if we could help them do the same.
We wanted to say yes.
But we couldnât.
We had demanding 9 to 5s, a second baby on the way, and were barely keeping our heads above water ourselves.
Then one summer evening while walking the neighborhood, an idea sparked.
There was a gap in how people approached real estate:
"Why do you need an agent to buy a home, a designer to imagine it, an architect to rework it, and a GC to build it, plus countless others just to make a vision come to life?"
The process was so fragmented that peoples' vision for their home became lost and the total cost was vague, at best.
"Why couldnât there be a single thread guiding people through the intimidating process of buying, designing, building, and selling a home?"
That night, Kaage Homes was born.
After a year of planning, saving, second-guessing, doubting, and re-validating the idea, we finally closed our eyes and jumped of the proverbial airplane to start our business
Two years, another renovation in Winnetka and a third baby later we've opened our eyes to see:
⢠A top-producing real estate team based in Winnetka
⢠Superstar employees who've bought in to our vision
⢠A 60-lot development in Glenview--the largest since The Glen.
⢠Several incredible clients we LOVE collaborating with
⢠A soon-to-be showroom featuring our work just blocks from our home
It's thrilling!
BUT IT'S BEEN FAR FROM EASY.
Early mornings. Sleepless nights. Weekends that feel like weekdays. New systems. Payroll. Red tape. Regulations. All while raising three young kids.
I'm exhausted, yet full of ambition. I'm anxious, but have faith. I'm scared as hell, but I'm moving forward anyway.
If youâve been following along on our journey, THANK YOU. Your support means more than you know.
2026 is going to be MAJOR. We can't wait to show you what's next!
@NDIrishDaily@LChaney_@FDSportsbook I donât disagree that the result of the Big12 and SEC championship games play a role in the odds, but if the playoff started today Bama would be in and the committee has said they wonât penalize teams in the rankings if they make and lose a conference championship.
My familyâs health insurance is jumping from $2,000/mo to $3,400/mo next year. All of it after-tax money.
Nothing like the âAffordableâ Care Act making healthcare LESS affordable for a family of 5.
Insurance remains an enormous hurdle for young entrepreneurs.
@TheRealEstateG6 Wife and I left our corporate roles almost 2 years ago to help people buy, design and build homes. Gotta say youre 100% spot on here. Itâs somehow the most stressful, freeing, maddening and rewarding thing Iâve ever done. A rollercoaster of emotions but could never go back to W2.
We are all so fucking lucky.
We are the luckiest mfers in history.

You can just do things.
So go do them.
Plan later what.
Fortune favors the fast.
@KazrionMAXX@NEVERDOOMPRO When you start dooming, thatâs when you need to never doom. You are everything youâve ever wanted to beâIt just hasnât happened yet.
@tbhorka as-expected. RS Freshman QB, on the road, top-10 team, prime time. Freeman typically uses halftime to settle them down. Letâs see if theyâre more aggressive in the second half and turn the momentum.
