We are now starting to wrap up for Christmas. The LRCs will close for the holidays on Thursday 19th December at 4.45pm. Only online services will be available. Please plan ahead and ensure you have any physical resources you may need to continue your studies during the break. 🎄

@kirkleescollege students have enjoyed furry festive visits from @petsastherapy_uk this week. Volunteers visited our Huddersfield and Springfield LRCs.
Mouse was very festive in her christmas outfit and enjoyed getting lots of cuddles and strokes from our students. 🎄🐶🎄🐶🎄

In October Dr Andy Cope aka Dr of Happiness, attended the KC staff training day as a key note speaker. Andy specialises in positive psychology and the science of human flourishing. A selection of his books are now available to borrow from the LRCs.

Foundation Rose Group at Springfield Centre took part in Carnegie Medals Illustration Shadowing. They debated, discussed, made bowers and masks and voted for their group favorite. Find out who has won the Shadows' Choice Awards at the official ceremony on 20th June in London.
