The ocean takes up ca. 25% of the CO2 we emit. This piece in @SeaTechnology describes the value chain that can track this including data from e.g. @ICOS_RI, synthesis via @SOCAT_CO2 and reporting via the @gcarbonproject. The @WMO #GHG observing network is a key future initiative.
