#Covid19SA South Africa has recorded 4 623 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24-hour cycle, taking the total number of cases to 1 645 555.

The country has also recorded 102 new Covid-19 related fatalities.

This brings the country's total number of deaths to 56 077. RM

Mobile data prices as incredibly expensive for the poor. Things are getting better. In December, the Competition Commission ordered MTN and Vodacom to slash their mobile data prices. The result meant saw the operators lower their prices by an average of 33%. #FutureTrends

Some things never change. There was a gap with regard to books, infrastructure, and sanitation between urban and rural schools. Even currently the nation create yet another huge digital gap. If online e-learning does not cater for all then new strategy is needed.

Botswana schools in rural areas will most certainly encounter challenges to do with technology in teaching. The government needs to train teachers very well on how to use this technology. 4IR in schools is possible if government shows commitment.
