Remarkable info shared on the Prime broadcast: Chase Elliott, William Byron and Alex Bowman will make their 286th start as teammates today, tying Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson & Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the second most for any teammate trio all-time.

The record is 301 starts together for Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth at Roush. The current Hendrick trio could break that record before the end of this season.

I’ve gone exploring during the red flag and several fans have stopped me with less-than-ideal reports about several areas running out of food and the trams being basically unusable due to crazy lines (and each one only holds 16 people, I’m told). One fan spent $1000 for his Hangar Club ticket and walked from the ferry to his seat and said it was five miles in total, and he’s so upset he isn’t coming back tomorrow.
