Independent analysis reports that Danielle Smith handed out $2 billion annually in various forms of subsidies to the Oil & Gas industry.
Meanwhile...
Provincial officials did not respond when asked how many seniors will lose provincial benefits of $328 a month.
@calgaryherald She blames Nenshi for water pipes that were installed when he was 3 years old and were supposed to last 50—100 yrs, the *earliest* part of which was several years after his term as mayor?
Sounds like desperate deflection from someone who’s got an election next year (or sooner).
Mike Johnson still refuses to swear in Adelita Grijalva. This is a blatant attempt to protect those involved in the Epstein files.
Drop a 💙 to show SUPPORT for Adelita
@TheBreakdownAB And soon school’s funding will be affected by low scores. Not that they will get more funding because they may have more students or new Canadians or kids with learning challenges or that the school is in a lower economic area so needs more -uCP will penalize the school
Having heard that teachers are exhausted and under resourced to provide mandated standardized testing…
Nicolaides today…
Introduced more standardized testing!
And gave himself access to your kids specific personal information!

I wonder if Danielle Smith realizes that she needs a hard pivot to save her drowning party.
Alberta finally is starting to see through her smoke screen of spinning narratives and lies of omission.
The UCP is a heading for an iceberg and Smith keeps increasing the speed.
So, I just heard from the radio that teachers in the Catholic system are to continue donating their time for extracurriculars or they will be reported to the UCP as strikers (would they then be fined?). Is this true? How can anyone force you to work for free? @gilmcgowan
This morning the UCP refused to give Elections Alberta the resources to verify a recall petition. This is their own legislation.
Basically they are only “pro democracy” until the people actually use the power… so not actually pro democracy at all. #ableg
On the Alberta Teacher Tales Facebook page, there is a post today with questions answered by Lethbridge MLA Nathan Neudorf . He says that UCP is going to be repealing the recall legislation in the spring because it’s being ‘abused’.
Because of course they are. Anyone surprised?
"The total private school grant was increased by 10.3 per cent in the 2025 budget. The hike was just 4.5 per cent for public schools, well short of inflation plus population growth. Per-student spending on private schools is expected to grow to $544 million by 2027-28."
