@AKHAND_HINDU_@teachergoals Your passage supports my statement. I agree that students can meet success on their level with their capabilities and provided additional supports or help. What I implied is that at whatever level you are providing supports you can not “make” a student succeed.
@Mr_SMaths@eriksonmath@primarymaths I agree. I always used my fingers to count if needed. I find it baffling that many students don’t use them and do everything they can to avoid it out of embarrassment. #edchat
Mental Health is so important for our students to focus on. Not to often is it a topic of conversation in school. How can they learn when they are mentally overwhelmed with life. #edchat https://t.co/RkDMy8tASs
@AKHAND_HINDU_@teachergoals A1: I do not agree with the term “make” all we can do is provide the opportunity to learn using accommodations and modifications to meet the needs of each student on their level for them to achieve mastery and success. #edchat
@OneHandStream @teachergoals As a fellow special education teacher with the title Emotional support, I agree! The stereotype with the label creates rough start to begin with! Imagine students being told they are being provided creative education or support over the term “special”! #edchat
@DallasTexas2021@teachergoals This is great. I believe many teachers modify and accommodate in a natural way. When we see a student struggle we do what it takes get on their level and help them understand. #edchat
This is so true but following this with a misconception that most create is that different supports does not always mean different material presented. #edchat
@joemullikin86 I have seen this in so many rural districts. I have seen principals kiss goats, donkeys and more! It’s amazing what can motivate students. #edchat
Because many students don’t understand their working memory, they study ineffectively, she says. They read over their notes or stare at a list of vocabulary words and think “I’ve got it.” @dfkris https://t.co/tI04Grky1Y

Educators are not defined by the test scores they generate or the programs they implement. I think their greatness is found in the hundreds of little interactions they have with students every day. They are what will be remembered. They are what make a difference for kids.
ISO better ways to connect with students quickly. Currently using schoology messaging and zoom chat. Thoughts and ideas greatly appreciated. They all have an IEP. 40+ students K-12…. #educ582#specialeducation#techtools#CommunicationsStrategy
