Arthur Cofield was serving an 11-year sentence for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft at a Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) in Jesup, Georgia.
While in the FCI, Cofield allegedly used a contraband cellphone, gained access to a victim's Charles Schwab investment account, and wired himself $11 million.
With the money, Cofield bought a $4 million mansion and 6,106 gold coins that he had transferred to Atlanta via private plane.

🚨 INDIA MAY HAVE JUST WITNESSED ONE OF ITS BIGGEST ACCOUNTING FRAUDS EVER.
SEBI alleges that Rajesh Exports, one of India's most well known gold companies and a Fortune Global 500 firm, faked $158 billion in revenue, 99.8% of everything it ever claimed to earn over the last 5 years.
Rajesh Exports owns a Swiss gold refiner called Valcambi SA through overseas subsidiaries.
The parent company booked the full value of refined gold as its own revenue, even though it never owned the gold. It only held it temporarily for refining on behalf of customers.
Valcambi's own audited financials show it generated less than 0.5% of what Rajesh Exports was claiming as group revenue.
When SEBI asked for subsidiary financial records, Rajesh Exports repeatedly refused, citing Swiss privacy laws. SEBI is legally authorised under those same laws to request the records.
SEBI also found $1.3 billion in recorded transactions with a firm called Affluence Shares and Stocks.
Affluence told SEBI directly that Rajesh Exports was never its client, no agreement existed, and no trades were ever executed.
SEBI alleged those entries were fabricated to match gold derivative trades the owner was running through his personal account using company funds transferred without board approval.
Owner Rajesh Mehta has been banned from all securities market activity and a forensic audit has been ordered.
LIC, India's largest state insurer, owns 10.8% of the company.
The company has denied all charges and plans to contest the order.

FAFO: Tulsa Man SHOOTS intruder.
This is the surveillance video outside a home near 21st and Mingo where police say a man shot an intruder, Alvin Basham, early Monday morning.
The man who lives in the house, Gavin Bogle says he was at his house playing video games around midnight Monday when he saw on his cameras a man peeking in his windows. Police later identified the suspect as Basham.
Bogle says he grabbed his gun and started to go downstairs to check it out when he heard the suspect kicking in the door. By the time Bogle got downstairs he was face to face with Basham in the living room.
Bogle says he pointed the gun at Basham and told him to leave, but says the Basham didn't, and started reaching in his waistband, so Bogle shot him in the chest.
Police say Basham ran from the scene and officers found him down the road bleeding and was immediately confrontational.
Officers used pepper balls and a K9 but say Basham punched the K9, bit an officer, scratched another officer and spit in another officer's face before they got him in custody.
Records show Basham got out of prison 9 months ago after serving four years for burglary and assaulting police.
Tulsa Police arrested him in 2021 for trying to break in to a woman's home who had a baby inside.
Imagine you are a dental hygienist and live in Sweden..
You are employed to help “migrant children” with their dental issues.
As part of your job you examine the wisdom teeth development of the kids and you notice that 80% of those “kids” have fully formed wisdom teeth, implying they are not kids at all but adults older than the age of 18.
You tell the Swedish Migration Agency and they advise you to put it in writing.
When you send exact details, with examples of specific patients you are suspended, investigated and fired for disclosing private information relating to patients.
This happened to Bernt Herlitz in 2017.
When he appealed the unfair dismissal he ultimately lost and was fined about $50,000.
He and his family faced financial hardship and almost lost their home, until some generous benefactors raised money for him. Bernt remains unemployed today, despite staff shortages for dentists in his area in Gotland.
At the time, Sweden scoffed at the tests and claimed they were “discriminatory” but since then they have quietly brought in mass dental testing, for those whose age is in doubt, by the National Board of Forensic Medicine.
Bernt deserves a medal. Not vilification and unemployment.
