@WashingtonSRC My rent goes up, but the non-profit I work for can't afford to give the employees a raise. You figure how we are supposed to make it continue to work!
@returnstosender@BrandiKruse You must have so much extra money! Good for you. Please donate to the homeless shelters & food banks for the rest of us.
The way they set up that long-term care is a racket alone, then add in the cancellation of natural gas for heating your home...
@christine_p_33@BrandiKruse Well, you must have money to throw away. I sure don't!
Feel free to give some to the homeless shelters & the food banks.
@davepl1968@RedmondWaPD These are the individuals who don't believe they should have to actually WORK for their $$. I despise this group of people across generations who are so selfish!!! π‘π‘
State Sen. @Dhingrama claims passing the @letsgowa initiatives will take our state back "decades." Not only does that simply not make any sense, but it also shows a disturbing willingness to lie. Here's why:
I-2113: Would return our police pursuit law back how it was before July 2021.
I-2117: Would repeal a carbon pricing system that only started collecting revenue a year ago.
I-2124: Would make a long-term care tax optional for those who want the program, which hasn't even been fully implemented yet because it only started collecting revenue this past summer.
I-2109: Would repeal the capital gains tax, which only started collecting revenue last year.
I-2111: Would further protect against a state income tax, which our state does not have right now.
I-2081: Designates parents as the primary stakeholder in their child's life, but repeals no existing law.
The truth is Democrats love all the money that's rolling in and they don't want to give it up. Time for them to work within a budget like Washington families have to.
